I’m bawling at what, 4 minutes in now? It’s so good that y’all have videos with Nana so Leo can have them to watch growing up. My hubby passed away 6 years ago, I have no video footage of him & my grandkids have already started to forget his voice & they cry to me about it. We all cry together. Nana had such an impact on him in such a short time 💕🥰🤗 It’s truly touching to see & I thank you for including that moment in this video. Everyone needs to go record their grandparents, parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers, sisters, the entire family because not one of us will make it out of here alive. We forget things faster than we realize we will. 😢

Never, ever say you hope you don't regret having another child, or that it was a mistake, even as a joke. We had two children only 18 months apart, and it was amazing to watch them growing up together and being so close to each other. As our youngest said at our eldest funeral, she feels so lucky to have been born with a best friend, guide, and mentor. The hard work of having two children so close together was both a joy and so very rewarding

My thoughts have always been when a young child feels emotions like Leo with his Nana, she’s around him and he wants her because she is so close. After losing my daughter, I feel this deeply. Awe Leo💔 My son called my Mom Nana too, I remember those days, trying to be strong when he was crying for Nana. Big hugs Allie. & Fingers crossed, baby g will be a sleeper! I was so lucky! Mine would sleep from 7-12, wake to nurse then sleep another 5 or 6 hours before waking again. He nursed a ton during the day, but he was a sleeper! It was a blessing!

I'm excited for you guys. The finish line is in sight. If I may suggest a trick to remove the labels from the windows and do a pre-clean before the drywall goes up it will make the final clean a lot easier. The sun and heat will soon bake the labels and they will be harder to peel off. I use rubbing alcohol mixed with a bit of water in a spray bottle, let sit for a few seconds then a razor blade will glide and remove. Blade will not scratch the glass if window is wet. That way you won't get you new drywall and paint wet when it's time to clean them. Rubbing alcohol will also remove paint spatters from windows. (And pitch from firewood on tile) Cheers!

She would sleep through the night right from birth. Naps were no problem, either, unlike her older brother,15 months older. I hope your second one is an easy baby, too. Little Leo wanting his Nana was so sad and sweet at the same time. It shows how much he loves her and how much she loved him, they clearly had a close bond but it also shows how young children are also affected by the loss of loved ones. He misses her and he's too young to understand yet. So heartbreaking. You handled that extremely well, Allie. I had a 2 year old when my husband passed away many years ago and he would call out to his daddy a lot, not knowing where he went. It's certainly a challenging thing to help the little ones through. You guys are doing a wonderful job raising that sweet little boy and You'll do great with this next one too. Thanks for another great video. @26:00 when my son was about Leo's age, I found some great videos on construction equipment. They were made for the audience of young kids. He just loved them. They were of real trucks and assorted equipment, and a green worker talking about them. Of course now there are so many of them on the Internet and I am sure Leo watches them.

This video started with tears at quite honestly the joy of Leo expressing and missing his ✨Nonni.✨ HOW PRECIOUS! Allie, you encouraged Leo in the most positive way, as I am sure she would want. It was Mothers Day yesterday and I know it had to be difficult Allie. I hope you are doing ok. She lives on for sure!…….Then the inspection going well,.and then the positive drywall experience and the blessing of being able to make it less labor intensive. That was the most heart wrenching moment Leo asking about NaNa. So good Leo is remembering his NaNa and that you told Leo you also miss her and you telling him to tell Na Na he loves her. We miss Lesley too, a lovely lady from inside/out and a beautiful smile. Glad you passed your inspection and now can do your favourite stuff, drywall. Happy Mothers day Allie...I understand the bittersweet feeling of the day. My Mother passed in April of 2020!! Miss her so much. It is so exciting to be to the drywall stage of your addition build. It will be so nice when finished. Leo is growing up so fast. You are right it is just a season of life. You won't remember it when the boys are 6 yrs old. Gods Blessings Kathy
