Yes I know I referred to Schiit as “Skit”. I was having a bit of fun with the name. The Magni 3+ however is a seriously good amp for the price.

If you're attaching any of these three amps to a $300 to $600 motherboard (you're going to get a very nice DAC on that motherboard), you won't need a $eparate DAC component

You might get a nice DAC on that motherboard, however PCs are incredibly noisy internally. Things like your power supply or fans can cause a lot of noise inside that metal box. It's best to get a digital signal out to an external DAC.
