Good morning Joe - For what it's worth, Spandex is the brand name for Elastane material. Spandex is an anagram of 'expands'. I've learned a ton from you and now you just learned something from me! I'm sure you'll sleep better tonight knowing that tidbit 🤣

no they are not the same as i have touched both materials and they feel very different =D Yes Spandex is a material, but it was also a known brand name. It was so popular in the 80's and they branded it for copyright reason's cuz they wanted to make it harder for people to make leggings. While Elastane is just a material but there is no brand name attached. yet we call them both "leggings" now, which is a brand. but they are 2 different brands, when one is spandex, and the other is general Leggings (lululemon did great at rebranding and they created their OWN fabric too, so now there are 3 different materials that make leggings fit so nice). and yet spandex is trying to pass for "leggings" now too. LOLOL xD

@@devotae I like my leggings and yoga pants made from thick fabric that isn't see thru when fully stretched. I wish I could find POD pants like Skechers brand!

Leggings are VERY tricky because cheap leggings are see-through or have a strange fit. All the samples I got from Printify were see-through, unfortunately. I wish you had stretched these leggings over your hand to show us the fabric. I've yet to find a POD legging that I'm really happy with.

Yes, I agree. I have tested all of printify leggings. Cheap, see through, poor print quality if using black as background as the white has bleed in the inside seams. None of these are acceptable to sell. The only athletic option on printful is 1/4 black and the rest of the legging is white? Not sure why either of these aren't providing quality. I just may end up doing myself.

A couple things to note on quality: The printful leggings seems to have a higher-quality fabric. Having said that, the Printify leggings have some surprising pluses. One, their stiching seems consistent, which Printful did not. There were places where the printful leggings seem to lose their stitch into the fabric, and they'll likely have seam issues sooner. A surprising thing that made me go "wow" -- the printify leggings have MATCHED thread. This means someone actively looked at these leggings and chose a matching thread. This really makes me wonder if this is done for every pair ordered and, if so, that increases their value greatly, especialy if white thread would look terrible on your design.

If anyone still is seeing this, I’m going to be doing plus-size POD leggings from XS all the way up to 6x. I’m only finding them on Printful as Printify doesn’t go past 2x. Has anyone seen any other places for plus size leggings? Thanks!

as someone who owns 54 pairs of leggings, I have to say spandex feels more comphy, like streatchy cotton wear around the house pants, while "elastane" is more athletic, its more silky yoga/Athletic feeling.

Printify yoga pants are 100% polyester - I don't understand how they function as Yoga pant. Just ordered sample. Have you ordered one of those by chance? Can 100% polyester be usable for yoga pant?

Has anyone compared the " Women's Cut & Sew Casual Leggings" to the "Stretchy Leggings"? The "Women's Cut & Sew leggings" are by MWW On Demand and look like a better quality have a 8.7 star where as the "Stretchy Leggings" by FYBY have a 7.9 star. Both are relatively the same cost. Any advise or thoughts on which one you would chose? Thanks in advance.

I have. MWWs are pretty soft, almost like pj pants, but they can be a little see through. FYBYs feel like plastic. I seriously hated trying them on. Another important thing to note is that Joe mixed up the leggings in the video. The pair on the right are Printful's high waisted leggings, I know those leggings well. They are the best I have found. The fabric is buttery soft and feels luxurious to wear. I do wish Printful would have kept that same fabric for their pocket leggings as those ones aren't as soft but still nice and very well constructed.
