Imo Marchand fcked around and found out trying to hit Bennet, its just some good ol rat on rat violence but yeah i think he should've been suspended, don't mind seeing dirty hits but what i dont like is when refs suddenly turn blind

In the interview after game 4, Bennett called it a hockey hit. They players need to wear full face shields. To many high sticks, pucks to the face, and shoulder checks to the head. Hockey players have a code of honor wearing the helmet with a half visor, and some of them keep the mouth piece out and chew on it (Tkachuk). They only wear the full face shield if they have a bad injury (Connor Bedard). They need to wear it all the time, especially the star forwards.

I’m a bruins fan and will say Marchand has earned everyone of his suspensions. It doesn’t matter who it happens to…. It’s dirty or not and that was dirty. I’d be arguing the same way if the roles were reversed.

Marchand getting smashed is pure karma. What goes around comes around. Bennett should have been suspended, it was dirty, a head shot. The NHL does need more consistency in officiating, even if a penalty wasn't called during the game it should have been caught before the next game in replay.

No matter what player on any team, thats beyond dangerous and the guy is a complte liar, on national television, when its plainly obvious what he did. Hockeys a tpugh sport , especially playoff hockey, but thats as bad as it gets. He'll get his at some point.

Would it have been alright for marchan to get a blind side hit on Bennett cause it looked to me like that was the plan. Bennett just outsmarted the rat and so he's the bad guy. Hockey is a serious contact sport and this is the kind of stuff that happens. Give it a rest

@@marianlucas2947 Since I made this comment, I've seen a few other angles and, yeah, it's a penalty, I guess, but Marchand is the aggressor here, so I don't think it deserves the outcry that it's getting.
