Very hard work but such good results! Suggest you wear padded/insulated gloves when you shovel to ease the pressure on your wrists and shoulders, and prevent blisters that will haunt you for weeks. Put them on BEFORE you start work. And wear proper eye protection when you use the power broom. Eyes matter. With the sidewalk now cleared it is up to the residents to contact their city council and arrange for repairs. The sidewalk is badly damaged and has become a safety hazard.

I don't know how stiff those bristles are on the new power broom but maybe try them our on the grassy areas on the sidewalk, If it works it would save the hands from blistering.

Sooooooo glad to see you back. Missed you. Love that brush attachment. I noticed you didn't have gloves on and I noticed you paused quite a bit while shoveling due to that nasty back pain from shoveling. This was a tough one for the first video of the year after not doing lawn care for months of winter. Ease into it so you don't hurt yourself. Your edges are always AWESOME. Hope your blister is better.

I could swear I saw another you tube video and this guy had a attachable blade thing for his digging foot to scrape instead/with shovel. What you could use is like those shoe ice cleats

There is a lawn service here in Texas that has invented a "shoe-shovel", an attachment he fits on his shoe that allows him to kick shovel those ingrown crack weeds. He is able to dislodge by kicking the blade up under the growth without bending over or the back breaking shovel work. M&D Lawn Care in San Antonio, or thereabouts. You might try contacting them to see if they could fit you for one, or if they are marketing it yet. Great job as always! Nifty new tool!
