You’re my favorite channel for this kind of content. So many of them are just in it for the views, for the attention. They really play up things they do like offer free service for a year or handing them money. When I watch your videos, I feel like it’s more a labor of love, of giving back. Thoroughly enjoyable watching what you do.

While I also agree that this channel and Phil by extension is an amazing example of how we should treat each other as human beings, I don’t subscribe to pooping on anyone else’s channel and their particular efforts to make their community and this world a better place. I LOVE ALL of these makeover/lend a hand/help out fellow man KZbin channels and I commend them for all of the good work that they are doing for others whatever that may look like☺️✌️❤️

I'm embarrassed to admit that my sidewalk actually looked just as bad! I didn't realize how bad it was until one day I saw that people had to walk sideways to walk by my house!!! It took me like three weeks to get it looking good because I don't have the power equipment and I'm old but I'm very happy with my results. My favorite part was when you scraped along the fence, I could almost smell that loamy aroma.

The City needs to acknowledge this guy in some way. Not only does he deserve it for the great work he does for free, he's helping residents stay safe by being able to use sidewalks safely, but also for the way he is making the community more beautiful. The local news stations should do a story about him, which would be great advertisment that would lead to more profitable business opportunities. He's such a nice, respectful, and caring hard worker. My wife and I are retired and mow several lawns in the neighborhood but somehow I always volunteer our time to help many other neighbors for nothing, just because it looks so nice when it's done. Loved your video and watched it to the end. Especially love uncovering a sidewalk like that. We have lived in our home for 37 years and a few years ago there was a woman who lived across the street and her sidewalk had never been edged in over 30 years. She was out of town one week and we went over and turned her 1 foot wide sidewalk back into it's full 4 foot width plus edged the driveway. What a difference and what a good feeling when it was done. Keep up the good work!

I’m so glad I found this channel! You do the best work of any of the other lawn KZbinrs I’ve ever seen! Super clean edging in this video!!! Wow and I love how you haul away dirt and clippings instead of mulching them; it looks SO MUCH better instead of just plopping it on top of the grass and leaving it there. You’re so thorough, you really take pride in what you do. You do the work as though you are caring for your own lawn, not a stranger’s yard for free. You don’t cut corners and are very precise. It’s super satisfying to watch. I haven’t seen you skip over anything yet. When I watch these lawn before and afters I try to picture what I would do if I were working and so far I haven’t seen you miss an area or not complete something. You always go back over an area to make sure you didn’t miss it and I don’t find myself saying, “I wish he would’ve gone over that part again” ever. I guess I’m a weirdo for getting such satisfaction out of these videos, but you really hit the nail on the head. Well done! You’ve got a new subscriber!

The edging is what gives me the most satisfaction, it just completely transforms it. It all looks fantastic at the end but those straight edges are a beautiful sight 🙌😊

Oh my goodness!! I loved it all and what a difference it made! I'm a Georgia native and I sure wish we had good people like you in my neighborhood. You are a sweetheart as that was some hard work you done there. In my younger years I would help my husband do yard work and garden work but let me just say I was NEVER cut out for that kind of hard labor! My hats off to you sir !! You are AMAZING!!

I think my favorite part was cutting back the over growth so you could use the small walkway. But then when you edged it and found a bigger walkway that was really cool. That was a lot of shoveling and picking up work. Great job, it looks so much nicer. 😁

You are an amazing young man! Bless you for all the wonderful work you do for those in your community who (for some reason) are unable to maintain their property. I am aware there are many of the older community who are unable to do all that work AND they are unable to afford to have it done. Thank you, thank you.

Believe it or not, you ARE a teacher, showing viewers how to properly care for a property. Fun to watch! I like where you cut through the grass growing over the sidewalk and shovel it up to find a nice clean sidewalk edge. Always very encouraging to see that reappear. Nice job. Thank you!

I use the "foot shovel" all the time too! I'm glad I found your channel, I've watched alot of other similar channels, but love how you do a variety of jobs from smaller to larger lawns. Most just do big overgrown lawns. It's refreshing to see smaller jobs that make huge improvements to appearance.

Edging is so rewarding. We are so excited that you are going back for more in this yard! As u know when it gets that bad it's just so overwhelming to the owners, no matter what their circumstance might be. Whatever constraint they have run into to let it go this far, whether they have physical, mental, energy, or even just time constraints or lack of tools, this is a game changer for people. For the owners to roll up to their overgrown shaggy house every day, to avoid chatting with neighbors or even avoid eye contact as they pass on the street or drive by... even just to enjoy their own surroundings and be able to relax on their own porch or driveway... all made possible in an hour of labor today and maybe a couple more hours for a couple more weeks. Just, how cool is that. Small things make such a huge difference. Much admired, love the concept, love the content, love the efforts and the follow through. As I am disabled I see things a bit differently now and even if I had zero financial worries it's just still a huge task to find someone to do the work and understand what needs to be done and do it the right way. I mean, if someone mowed that would be a start but for someone to take such great care in restoring the whole area back to usable for the community. Now that's what really makes the difference. Good job, thanks for sharing. A growing trend on KZbin that I hope really explodes.

I’m wondering if there’s a city ordinance that should have trimmed the trees. Sometimes they won’t follow up unless prodded. Great work! And for that lady, you definitely blessed her by doing this. I was so embarrassed by the state of my yard. My health has deteriorated over the last 3 years. My neighbors and their kids have blessed me this year with help. It isn’t perfect but it’s not awful either. Hoping I can do more next year. I know I can’t express enough how much I appreciated the help. Going to make something yummy to give to each neighbor at Christmas.

it is a shame, that people are allowed to have such a mess around their property. Also, the township must have people who clean the streets. So, it is their job to clean the walkway. This property owner owes this great man a hearty “Thank you”… That would be a very least he/she can do.

But they charge the owner like $700-$2000 for always doing the bare minimum. They would not have done what he did. So if there already going thru something like an illness cancer loss of job that just adds to the stress. This is amazing. Cause as long ad we watch and support videos like these than they get paid. But Yes there are lazy folks as well but not all.
