Not only did the game welcome him with his real name, it also changed the name of Julian to Juan. Keep in mind that Juan is a Mexican name. Eddie's reactions to these changes are even better. The fact that he's actually creeped out, just immerses you into the gameplay. Good job, Scared Mexican.

The game didn't change Julian to Juan. It kept it as Julian. Eddie did that himself. I'm also thinking the reason it used his name was because it's probably what he called the account/computer name on his own computer. Like the time, the info is freely available for programs on your computer to pull from.

@@nuget4792 the game just accesses your username from your device (your "user" file if you are on windows or mac, on my device I am called "Try" which is a fake name so these games didn't work on me.) it is super common in horror games, for example in Start Survey they use the same technique. Eddie must have his profile as Eduardo and the game just looked for the name on his device and put it in. Super simple stuff. *TLDR: The game takes your account name off your device, it isn't spying on you.*

The game knows your name because the developer set it up to look at your system files, specifically your personal folder that should be under your name. When I play games like this it reads "SUAdd" because I didn't put my real name for some reason. Hope this finds it's way to you and if it does, keep making awesome and entertaining content and let it be known that you are the main reason I'm taking Spanish next year.
