What’s up! Started my window cleaning biz 5 months ago and then recently reinvested to get a pressure washing rig. I have an igx800 8GPM. I have done lots of driveways but never a house-wash any good tips? Thanks

Oh heck ya man! As far as tips, watch my videos !! I usually drop a few good beginner tips every video👍🏼good luck

Is that as high as your pressure washer goes? Doesn't seem anymore powerful than a regular garden hose.
@WeberPowerWashingАй бұрын
It’s much more powerful I assure you! I was flowing through a small injector orifice to apply chemical, that’s why it seemed so weak. The full flow happens on the rinse 🫡

Ive been scared of using duct tape for property protection because Im scared itll leave sticky residue, so Ive been using painters tape but it keeps failing on me so I might have to give duct tape and see how she works
@WeberPowerWashingАй бұрын
Naaa duct tape is all good, unless it’s like dark paint and sun directly on it dead of summer. But it’s all good , I don’t like painters cuz it ain’t water proof

How hot of a mix does the 1.8 injector give you?

I used that red stucco tape all season.. Sometimes I like it other times I hate it. Never used duck tape, but might give it a try. Great clean up there!
@WeberPowerWashingАй бұрын
Oh Duct Tape is great, it just has that nice rip to it when you pull it off the roll, this red stucco had like a plasticy feel and it would stretch and not rip. the best I have used so far and i cant find it since was this anti residue tape , it was a duct tape. but thank you for the comment friend!

I love the dirty ones . And great job Shaun old boy. That’s all I use is the 1.8 even when it’s hot am pulling nearly 2% thro min . Now Iam using a 4 1/2 GPM pump not a 8

That’s awesome ! The 1.8 rips! Thank you sir.

How do you price houses?
@WeberPowerWashingАй бұрын
I do it based off how long I think it’ll take
@benderprofessionalservices9018Ай бұрын
@ ok. I would suggest you get the address plug it in to Google to get the sq ft and then just take that number and multiply by .20cents. Then I add $50 on top of that number so for example a 2,000 sqft house times .20cents equals $400 then add $50 for chemical and gas usage and the total is $450. You need to start doing this so you can buy more equipment and continue to market and have cash on hand. I just think if you get it out of your own head that people won’t pay that much, THEY WILL AND DO! Not everyone is your customer so start attracting the big fish. Anyway just some friendly advice.
@WeberPowerWashingАй бұрын
OK! I apologize, I thought you were asking the question how to price, I wanted to give you a quick easy answer. That was my fault for assuming!-you are 1000% right, honest to God that is exactly what I do, I try to get $.20 per square foot in my area, but it’s a delicate balance because my business is at the place where I need the jobs, and $.20 around my area is a bit steep. I’ve won some and I’ve lost some for sure. But this week, for example I have been doing really good! Thank you so much for the advice. I really appreciate it, not everyone is our customer!
@benderprofessionalservices9018Ай бұрын
@ yes in deed. I learned that from Aaron Parker. Charge high ticket and you will attract those people. I’m still pretty new to the game too and I learn a lot from watching your videos. Oh one more thing if your not doing this already ask them to send you photos of each side of the house before you give them the quote so you can see how bad it is. You have been getting some haunted houses for sure lately. Hahahhah. C ya
@WeberPowerWashingАй бұрын
@ for sure! I’ve learned a lot from Aaron as well, he’s solid. - that is definitely in the business plan, I pray I one day get to the point where I can have a full book of business at those prices 🙏🏼 And the picture is a great idea! I just had someone comment something great in that regard too, he said ask the customer “has your house been washed within the past 5 years” I thought that was good

300 for a house in that condition? Thats a steal for the home owner.
@WeberPowerWashingАй бұрын
Thank you! I feel like it was a Win Win for both of us, customer got a fair price, and it took me 50 min to clean it up. All good
@OGBREEDАй бұрын
@WeberPowerWashing yea 300 for 50 minutes. You can't go wrong with that. I have another question. I watched one of your videos where you did a bunch of fat work in a big back yard. You said you were DS with a 4gpm washer with a 1.8 DSI. My question is do you ever get any back flow of chemical into your pump because the orifice is a little small for a 4GPM washer. Usually 4GPM is rated for a 2.1 DSI just wondering if back flow of chem with the 1.8 could be am issue? I use an X jet because I have a 4GPM machine and can't achieve a hot enough mix with the 2.1 so I have to X jet it. If I could switch to a 1.8 I would be able to achieve a hotter sauce.
