Oh for goodness sakes no it was not i see you have been listening to Jesse's encamp. For your education high kicks if the old masters wanted it could have taken it from white crane KUNG FU where a lot of karate techniques comes from. Infact And instead that is exactly what did happen it was Masotoshi Nakayama who went to China and brought it back with the permission of FUNAKOSHI JNR.....

This is Randori sparring, Jyu Kumite is semi free where opponents know the attack and defend and counter with one blow.
