Charles ONLY has 4K Subscribers? How can that be? ALL the units were very nice--especially in the West Village! The rents are... (SMH)... what can you say except for "but, for what you're getting...". However, those are good rents for the West Village. My favorite was the 2nd unit. I'd rather try and pay that extra $500/month for the fulltime doorman and gym. But then you'd have to add on the holiday gifting expenses for the doorman. etc. too. Overall, genuinely nice units!

Definitely the 2nd apartment. Yes you have to consider holiday gifts (altho I wonder how many of the millenials know about that) for the staff. I'm thinking at least 3 full time doormen & maybe a part time 1 covering days off & vacations, a super, maintenance helpers but you don't mind if the building is kept immaculate. & of you put some $$$ aside every month for that you won't feel it when the holidays roll around. The west village is ridiculously overpriced & overhyped imo & really even there stats are showing that certain crimes are rising. You know that 99% of the time when Charles is involved it's gonna be good. Only 4K subscribers is crazy.

The first apartment has room for everything and is being nicely upgraded, but it's pricey! The second one is outrageously pricey but you get bigger rooms and more for your money. The studio is quite OK - except for the rent. According to Google Maps, it's a bit of a hike to the subway from this area. I would expect all three to be renting for $1,000 less, but NYC is insane.

Second place was the best imo. Rent was not that much more than the first place, but it seemed you got more space and a better kitchen. Just the bedroom alone was worth the extra money. Of course assuming you make the kind of money to afford any of these apartments.

It's like I Spy. Does anyone else remember the TV show from the sixties starring Robert Culp and Bill Cosby who were undercover spies masquerading as pro tennis players. I love the second and third apts. I'd love to own the studio. Rents are NYC average , second place had a lot of character but am really sold on the studio. I lived in an efficiency apt for about 2 years and I loved it. I loved the neighborhood, but it feels like you have the have a serious pay check to live there. 👍🍀

Like 'this apartment has a balcony too, but they share it with the AC'.
