Love the spell combos. Slicer -> Greatsword is a classic. Teleport into Frenzy grab looks terrifying lol. I'm personally fond of doing teleport into Wrath of Gold! Although tbh it looks like the int/fth casting is doing all the heavy lifting here. Could probably use a staff instead of the sword and have similar results, no? But I guess it's nice to have an r1 and ash of war when you need it! Alternatively, staff of great beyond can do all the spell mixups and you can pair with your weapon of choice! I guess DLC gave hybrid casters a lot of good eats, huh?

As a longtime omnicaster enjoyer who would rather sweat it out with a fun build than meta crutch, this makes me unimaginably happy. I keep a pocket full of fire coils instead of fire serpent, though. Frees up a slot and coil does basically the same thing.

A weirdly effective combo I've found is casting darkness, glintblade trio, miriams vanishing, and briars of sin. Darkness doesn't get used much, but it combos really well with miriam's vanishing since you cover distance really well. The glintbalde trio, if the combo goes through, will usually activate in time to catch the opponent between waves of briars of sin. This is a bit dependent on latency, but when it happens the damage just skyrockets out of nowhere.

@@CapDayne_Levi I mean, it SHOULD have been checkmate. Between the host and the phantom someone should have been hitting you right as your invincibility frames ended, but neither did. I don't blame you for giving up because it really was hopeless if they had brains. I wouldn't have expected to have time to do anything offensive either. But looking at the clip it's easy to tell they left you more than the 25 or so frames to cast vanish before you were getting hit, then your grab would have armored through the rotbreath and interrupted it

I could see you doing that mix up where you spam a bunch of alternating spells to get them rolling and then vanishing onto them to cast Ice storm or gavel. Though gravitational missile is probably the best AOE, bar none.
