Okay, I had to go back and check that endurance challenge that was that first match from to <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="100">1:40</a> to <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="280">4:40</a>-ish again: Host was Braddock, and their initial Gold was "Bito", who died swiftly, but *was* also the 2nd gold who was brought back, Chase was correct. 1st Blue was "Ada", 2nd Blue was "LiLLiTH". Despite both blues looking very similar, rocking the Blasphemous Blade and a Radegon Hat, they were not the same person.

Chase, you should do a video based around the Staff of the Great Beyond, the ability to mix sorceries and incantations together is fantastic and such a unique playstyle

Gravitational Missile has super good synergy with the Waves of Darkness Zweihander. Since the casting animation is super similar it takes some time for people to learn to differentiate the two, and until they do you can easily bait people into trading the full int Waves of Darkness. If they manage to survive that somehow they will stop punishing your casting so you can start spamming the Gravitational Missile at them until they decide to punish you for that. But as soon as they start to move towards you, you just cast Waves of Darkness again. Haven't experimented with this myself, but the optimal casting speed for this build is probably not the maximum, but the closest to the Waves of Darkness animation speed for even more bamboozles.

One of my favorite DLC sorcery combos has to be Gravitational Missile into Fleeting Microcosm, or using Fleeting Microcosm to force rolls into a free-aimed Cannon of Haima. Might be worth giving a try!

But I really got hocked to the game when I saw your yt video for the first time about 2 years ago. I really like the way you've been editing little teasers illustrating your points into the openings. 👍 It would be cool to see you try the Staff of the Great Beyond. I'd like to see what kind of sorcery+incantation combos you could come up with, and you get to use the split int/faith spells too (impenetrable thorns, vortex of putrescence... and the magma sorceries, I guess). Splash a tiny bit of arcane and you can do Dragon Claw + Carian Piercer.

There is something about Chase casually going through like 5 phantoms and then still approaching the fleeing host that makes me love these invasion videos. For a long time I thought the numbers disadvantage that's just an inherent part of invading would make it really difficult, but with how long Chase has been doing PVP even with wonky builds or weird off-meta weapons it really feels like these hosts need all the help they can get lol

Beautifully simple loadout and spell selection, I knew gravity bomb's pretty strong but I wasn't expecting twin moons to be such a good invasion tool. The finger shotgun and glintblade trio also have pretty great poise and stamina damage in them, I've thought about working them into an assassin mage build that poise breaks to close in for crits. (As a death magic enjoyer, most of the poise breaks i proc come from ancient death rancor which requires a lot of zoning which makes it hard to punish once it actually happens lol) I think you'd like blades of stone too, its pretty deceptive since it seems stronger if you play it like a usual short range burst aoe type of spell since it makes it harder for the target to get out of all 3 of the spikes if theyre being aggressive

Love it. Also sir, the upgraded "to the utmost" version of Radagon Icon is "Beloved Stardust". Might save you some dex points next time. Although you might have missed it on your run prior on your sorcery character or not like the +DMG taken(mitigated by using extra skill points for more endurance for protection or towards more DPS 😬). Anywho, sweet setup my dude🤙🏾

Miriam's Vanishing is a very interesting option when used against other wizards specifically. Since it removes lock-on for the teleport part of the spell, it can dodge opponents' spells that are cast during the teleport, because the other wizard loses lock-on before the spell is loosened and thus it cannot track you. Personally, I lose more fights than I win if I use Miriam's Vanishing, though. It just doesn't suit my playstyle or me having only melee spells on my wizard.

Messmers fire orb is hilariously fun to use; I’ve been spam invading using it and you can do ridiculousness damage while exploding. Which is all I’ve ever wanted.
