Ngl this was one of the easiest achievements I ever did. I wouldn't have tried it without your video. I played that nation before the DLC and failed a lot. Idk if I got better but I got it first try without any problems at all. Annexed every but 2 provinces of argentina in the first war and from there on you just have to attack brazil 2 times and you got it. Very simple.

Its not just easy its insanely easy. Just double defend with your general. One of the is adamant. Watch the moral of the brazilian army break. Change to attack. This is so easy. I've seen the ai do it right in the new patch. Then its just Argentina with more steps. One of tge steps is eating up Argentina. Getting both states and not a white peavey used to be a reroll fest but now it happens quite frequently.

I only made the playthrough for an achievement run, and wasn't interested on playing it through, so using an ally, I just took an exessive amount of land and infamy for a big war against Brazil and getting it right there around the early 1850's. Doing this much less masterfully. Problem is after a while France guaranteed Argentina and now only a much stronger and tech ahead Brazil remain as "viable" target. Trying to industrialized and play tall after I made a bad move when taking Paraguay before a revolt that ended up making me pay reparations to Paraguay and delaying my plans for 5 years. Then after I ran out of pops I banned slavery and now I'm running out of infra, researching railways. But money is tight, can't get much more than 30 building. I believe the cripple economic start slowed the gameplay way too much. But we'll, I'm at 2,5 mil GDP and Brazil is at around 6,5. I'm getting there. If I manage to conquer Paraná and São Paulo it's over for them.
