Finally, for the phone feature, this device is incompatible because it does not have it available. Mainly, because it does have a port for sim card or sd card but the more expensive devices do support it and also have a 4g feature where it runs off its own internet from the sim card you use instead of a separate hotspot device .

For the GPS or Google Maps app, you don't need the gps device.... It works fine without it from your phone's internet or mobile hotspot
