These are the kind of ftk's one can make a case for them not to be banned, they are just too inconsistent, die to the majority of popular handtraps, leave you with a high chance of losing to time limit, and you'd be better off just using the base engine that sets them up to make an strong turn 1 board if you actually wanted to be competitive. Edit: bonus point, they have no contingency plan going second unlike dino ftk for example that can just fall back to uct otk

Yeah because you can Ash, Nib, Ogre, etc mid combo and the whole deck is cucked… I would assume that’s why it’s not banned because hand traps are pretty much a staple in every deck so it doesn’t matter.

Felt that second duel so many people open combo and hand traps but I play one or two tech cards and constantly brick on them and have lack luster combo why most of my decks are just gas to play through hopefully anything

Try out the pend ftk with starving venom it's insanely consistent in md like 70% of hands do it (provided you're running extenders like curtainraiser and the mythical beasts)

Until Starving Venom was limited the most consistent way was a Predaplant build which could get you to the combo with a single Lonefire Blossom. You could play handtraps.

The only FTK i can pull demi-constantly is exodia[ofc if there is no interruptions],i tried doing morphing jar but it mentally broke me,just like drytrons,pot of greed though it would be good for exodia deck when it comes to UR banned cards

You can’t scroll if your opponents disconnecting. In my 1000 hours It’s the only thing you can’t do if your opponents disconnecting. You can press the arrows instead though. Finished game lmao.

Interesting question came to mind when reading self destruct button, what would happen if you chain it to a card like emergency provisions that gains you life? does the game end mid chain or would you still gain the life and win?

The game ends the second either players LPs drop to 0 so since the card instantly sets both players' LPs to 0 the game instantly ends in a draw midchain

@@mgdplayz5727 I think that the confusion has to do with something like the fact that, for alternate win conditions (i.e. Exodia) you have to finish resolving the chain before you actually win from the condition.

@@DoctorOaks That's slightly incorrect. If you draw into exodia during a chain, you automatically win the duel at the moment and the chain stops. When Coder did his Ghostrick Ruling Quiz with MBT, that was one of the rulings where Socuteboss got 10 materials in a chain where the opponent would draw exodia and Socuteboss got 10 materials first so the chain stopped and they won the duel.

Doc, it’s the opposite. I remember one of the rulings quizzes having a question on this. Victory conditions are not effects, once fulfilled, you win. Chain does not matter.

one thing to cosider is that it only said that some cards will be craftable, that means the goofy ones that have entire pages dedicated to their rulings such as last turn might not be available , i cant imagine how much of hastle would be to program that thing in a game with 10,000 cards
