Mhm, I thought you were meant to put the converter into the nib section and then fill it, so the nib is already filled with ink and ready to go. Is there a right and wrong way or is it just a matter of preference? I only recently started using fountain pens, so I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Hi Lilly - I don’t think it matters either way. I have done it both ways. You’re right though, it makes sense to draw up through the nib so that it’s ready to go. It also gives you more ink since you fill the nib and chamber above.
