It needs a lot of changes. Even round 5, your progress is so slow, you barely manage a couple of resource dumbs, as the movement penalty is to large, animations to slow, unlocks gives to little.

A lot like dome keeper, but enough meaningful changes to be neat. I think the downside of this game is that it may not be fun to replay because so many things are static

I understand your concern, Im trying to make it more replayable. Currently what changes between runs is character + character skills, guns, random map, enemy waves (difficulties in full game) if you have any ideas I would be happy to hear!!!

@PyroPhysicsGames I think a design goal might be that there are different win conditions in any given run and they are not things you may expect to rely on in every single run. I saw a lot of static upgrades which are consistent with Dome Keeper but it means that you can copy it next run. In a game like slay the spire you can't ever assume you'll find a specific relic or card so it makes the randomness way more meaningful and sets runs apart. To me Dome Keeper runs are fun the first time you win but it's basically the same thing unless you change map, base, character IMO so you just need a lot of content. Another thing that might spice up the game if it isn't already in is more indications of what you might find you reveal a new area so players can strategize more

During gameplay it show coins from previous run + coins collected in current run. In the end it shows only current run, so technically it's correct but... confusing. I'll tweak it to make it clear
