I use this same build but take marksman dodge with ascension for even more dr from artifact mods and easy jolts, Word of Crota with dragonfly frenzy is a really good pair with this setu Edit: I forgot to mention, but volatile kills from void weapons feeds back into gunpowder so you literally don’t need any other ability if you keep kills flowing

Huge thumbs up for this build setup. I hadn't done much with hunter prismatic class items, farmed a couple after seeing this video and landed one with cyrt/inmost. Add in a repulsor brace elsies, unlimited overshield/volatile. It flows so smoothly, there's always an ability to use.

I’ve been using cyrtarachne/galanor in a similar build, but I didn’t realize gpg worked to get woven mail. That’s really cool, and I’ll definitely try it out!

I think that'd be the best for GMs, would rather get tether or silence and squall back quickly instead of running out of cover to try proc caliban ignitions

@@finnwilson3511 Exactly! I love getting my super back very quickly for this reason. It makes for a balanced build. I’ve been building for GMs and it’s super helpful to spam tether or silence and squall. Ignitions would be super fun for general gameplay, though.

Great build, thx didnt know that riskrunner is that fun. I also use the Fragment of Honor, where you get tranzenergie with destroying tangles or collect firesprite to get tranc faster

I just so happened to have this combo on one of my 4 class items. I ran my variation of it with crafted zaouli’s and dragons breath. Fire EVERYWHERE. Insanely fun thank you!!

I have Cytarachne+Assassin I also use Ticuu’s to target lock and The Call to finish off the crowd. I can always go invisible with a melee kill

Im new to Destiny (playing for a month now) and searching for a hunter build that fits in my playstyle. this build looks rlly cool! thx 4 that :) just one question: What is a great option to use in the heavy weapon slot? if you play riskrunner instead of graviton you need a void weapon to trigger volatile rounds i think? thx! :)

I think verity is a much better choice. Especially if you are able to utilize invisibility for endgame content, unfortunately invis is still the best form of a defense.

I use gunpowder gamble but i use it with renewal and duskfield grenades and star eater for my second perk. Between the severs and slows im always tossing gunpowder, im always stunning champs w duskfield and if i cared about woven mail id change my super to strand and pick an orb up. The idea of using two strand abilities in a build is redundant, boring, and ill ask what everyone is thinking and thats "why not just run strand and get the beyblades too? Why not just use the main cyrta exotic? This build seems forced. Like you got a class exotic and you tried to build your entire class around it instead of farming the one you really wanted. I see this a lot since class item is so hard to farm. Ppl just give up and make what builds they can w what they have...

Two strand abilities are redundant and boring? What? Lol. Grapple and the threaded spike are two of the most fun options. And with gpg you still have a proper grenade option as well that has insane uptime.

I think your roll is the cope brother. Spirit of Crytarachne is absolutely goated with Prismatic hunter and so much better than the original exotic.

That's why there are multiple videos of this combination and build, right? Because it's redundant? The gameplay in Aztecross's build battle video is "redundant", right? A top-tier hunter main in ATP (that's soloed raid bosses, GMs, and dungeons, and placed in the top 3 for SE) has cited it as one of his top 3 choices for combinations, but it's "redundant", right? Surely you know better than them and are a better player. 😂. My 1st roll that dropped was Inmost and Cyrtarachne and I'd never trade it for your bs. Keep farming, fam. Or maybe you're content with your cognitive dissonance. 🤔😂 And who runs a hunter's strand super in endgame content? Smh.
