STEPS FOR DUO: one person just needs to sit on the menu (three options), and one just shoots directly at them with a cannon, and it works. you can also do the glitch for supply crates, so infinite cannons (can work for other supplies as well). the timing for it the person shoots and as soon as it lands on you (or a bit earlier which is more consistent), the person clicks on the commodities menu. i did this exploit at Port Merrick and i got a clear line of sight on my duo. before you sell, keep doing the glitch for the supply crates until you get rank 5 emmissary as they give you rep (will cost a lot) if you dont want to spend tons of money just do any other way of getting rank 5 lemme know for any clarification :)

just do it as a duo. you wont need blunder bombs for being a duo as well - just use cannon balls to "one ball" your teammate who is buying them. if you hit your teammate correctly you will know, also they are infinitely buyable because you can als use a supply glitch, as well as get a lot of balls from the outpost you are on

U can always load into that tall tale and repeatedly scuttle your boat and take the blunders from it….. like 12 blunders/min or so if you use a brig….

you can buy the blunderbombs from the shipwright lady near where you spawn then use a tall tale to dive to another outpost and buy them there to get an easy stack.

If you are that worried about it (I’m not saying you shouldn’t be) then I honestly wouldn’t do it as a whole because it’s just a risk that comes with doing exploits

With a gally and no ship at the outpost an enemy ship will 100% spawn in taking all your commodities

@@archpolecat5218 thanks I've tried numerous things but couldn't replicate. They had probably a dozen reaper chests, numerous mega kegs, probably 30 ashen keys and chests. The loot was ridiculous. Obviousl, I'm curious lol

I found some info on it but I’m hoping it’s wrong because it’s very hard, do you have any more info about what they were doing? Two people doing it together it not part of the same crew, maybe a quest they had down or anything like that?

@@archpolecat5218 I wish I did. All I know is they said they were spawning 2 every 3-5 minutes and wouldn't say anything else cause they don't want it patched. They started being rude as I was talking to them cause I was messing it up apparently. so I sank them lol. The other crew came straight for the fight, and I didn't get to ask them. The ones I did talk to were on a sloop, only 2 of them, they could've been from different crews, they wouldn't have told me if I'd asked so who knows. Sorry man, wish I had more info for ya.

How is this really any different than buying and selling commodities though? 🤷🏻‍♂️ If you get level 5 emissary, buy all the cheapest commodities at each port, and sell them all at the port where they are highest, it’s basically the same thing, without wasting a bunch of time and blunder bombs. 🤷🏻‍♂️ In fact, you buy at lower prices of about 170 instead 300+ in this video.

Seems like the amount of time it would take to round up all the bombs would be better spent starting to buy and sell commodities, but I haven’t compared them I guess. 🤷🏻‍♂️ The big totals sound more theoretical to me anyway. If you took all the setup time and everything else, plus the possibility of having a large amount of loot stolen, I’m just not convinced it is much more lucrative than regular commodities. I still love your content, though. 👍🏻

@@archpolecat5218 You can buy 9 or 10 at each port, for around half the price of what you are buying for with this exploit. Then you go the nearest port and buy 9 or 10 of the next, then just rinse and repeat and make sure you are selling at the highest prices for each port where you stop. 🤷🏻‍♂️

What exactly is it that makes the correct stock menu appear? Is it the timing of getting blundered after engaging with merchant but before the commodities menu is opened?

it is getting blown out of the range of being able to interact with the NPC while you are in their inventory

@@archpolecat5218 Oh I’m doing to early! I actually had to slow it down. The glitch only works when it’s loading the commodity page, but I achieved this timing again and again and it simply doesn’t give me the changed menu. I went through 20 bombs once my timing was right and it didn’t work once.
