unless they try to do this massive amount of gameplay in 6 hours which is VERY impossible. This video was likely taken over a 30+ hour weekend grind on double gold or w/e. It takes quite a bit to get to 50 in all 3. I guarantee it took them AT LEAST 10 hours in just gold hoarders, just look at the amount of sht they did. They did so much. People here actually believe ALL THAT was in like 2 hours???? Humanity has fallen far intellectually.

@@josefgoebeler1287 That was during a skeleton alliance so 2 ships pop up on either side of your ship that's why he was able to ride on up since he could go left or right and still get a ship. Hope that made sense I'm a little tired writting this reply lol.

A trick for early gold: In the Maiden Voyage, if you open the Pirate Lord's stash, you get a starting 15k from loose piles of gold on the ground. That's enough to speed things up at the very beginning, if you don't count completing the tutorial as "time".

It kinda shows what sort of PvP happens in SoT when you think that a player leaving others alone to sell their hard-earned loot is a "weird encounter". Not everyone steals and robs others in SoT. Some of the most fun I've had has been creating alliances to take on skelly forts and sharing loot (although those alliances don't usually last too long).

I had to get two of my friends who really wanted to play the game that I had to get pirate legend. Y'all had a lot easier time then we did, I would've loved that gold weekend multiplier when I was helping them.. they were usually on at separate times too so it took a while of just constant merchant voyages, gold hoarders was done insanely early because of the vault runs and order of souls was a pain because we didn't want to do a lot of the world events because they were normally camped and with just me being pretty good at PVP it was even harder to fight people, I can say I don't hate the special merchant voyage but I can't say I loved it like I did before hand

Well done! I like how you obtained more than 2 million gold in mere hours. You two were extremely lucky you didn't have Reapers after you. Almost every time I have a significant amount of loot WITHOUT BEING AN EMISSARY, I lose it to more experienced players--often Reapers. This game is fun, but absolutely infuriating sometimes. It took me more than a month of almost daily playing to reach Pirate Legend, and it took me almost a whole year to reach 2 million gold without buying all that much. Also, beating those Ashen Lords does not take minutes; it takes half an hour. -_- Getting close enough for cannon shots just sinks the ship in the third round. Yeah, this game makes me so salty.

Pro tip if you ever do this again: the loot you already had on your ship could of been used to upgrade to level 5 emissary. Pick up the loot off your ship for whatever emissary and place it back down on the ship it will count towards your progress and you won’t have to go and do a new event. :)

@@Brewticus it took me around 70 hours to get pirate legend as a brand-new player with some help from some more experienced players. Still, the grind to pirate legend is super easy for them partly because of the event and their game knowledge, but more their pvp skill. The hardest part of getting pirate legend is that as a new player, you aren't good at pvp and can be sunk easily losing hours of progress. If I hadn't been sunk during my grind I could've surely gotten pirate legend in 20 hours.
