This sounds like a really fun little camera! But I'm a bit worried about how well the photos will hold up to time. At least the prints on thermal papers I've used barely last a year or two, depending on their quality. Same goes for the paper recites I've gotten in stores. So it doesn't seem like the best camera to use to capture childhood memories since they won't last long. Plus, if it's low quality paper and you touch it on a hot summer day, you'll have a lovely finger shaped blob on your photo.
@mileswales4 жыл бұрын

My record is 14 years. The receipt was hidden in a pocket of a jacket I didn't use for 14 years. Aibecy Peripage sells special paper that should last 10 years (at least). If you want to see how well receipt paper can stand sunshine versus the Peripage paper than click on my channel. I have a little video on there showing the results.

You can recover faded images by exposing them to heat or to acetone vapor. Then, the 'unexposed' parts will turn black and you are left with a negative, that could be scanned for example.

..apart from the significantly increased exposure to BPA and whatever else it is that coats the paper, during key formative years. TBH It's the gameboy camera / printer with maybe a slightly higher resolution - I'd expect better given that the core tech is between 20 and 30 years old.
