I can tell B-Lat hasn't snuck into a fishing spot in a long time. Pro Tip: Towing a wrapped 20' bass boat in is not the way to be inconspicuous. You need to roll up in there with a grey Chevy Malibu rental and a telescoping spinning rod and a pocket full of senkos. That's the way I do it when I'm on business travel.

Forbidden fishing is the best fishing. We used to jump the fence at the National Bureau of Standards and catch 6 pounders all night back in the 80’s…The guards would chase us in their golf carts…I got my jeans caught on the top of the fence and hung upside down once during an escape…Good times.

there used to be a company that made a very bland generic shaped frog, but I loved it cause they floated like you said you can slow down your retrieve. But i haven't been able to find one that stays a float can't wait to get ahold of these beautiful looking frogs.

To me, the floating was the biggest deal on this toad. Because there are already other soft plastic topwater toads on the market, googans having one for example, but they sink and require a very quick engagement of the spool after it hits the water or it seizes to be a top water lure and sinks. So the fact that this toad floats is huge.

I could definitely use that frog down here on the Stick Marsh/Farm 13, the new Fellsmere Headwaters lake right next door, and the Thomas Lawton/3 Forks area!!! I like this new bait much better than Z-man's popper frog. But I have caught quite a few bass on their popping frog. The baits really do last. I think this new one will be much better though.

I watched a Zman video where this Australian guy was saying that those line on the “top of the frog” helps keep it weedless, and the “bottom” is shaped like a boats hull to keep it running true, ya know the “butt crack side”. Most other soft plastic frogs have a set of molded eyes on it and thats always right side up just like how a frog would look. Zman has the best colors and looks but I have sooo much trouble keeping them stuck in place on the hook. Today I used super glue and it worked great but I hate that I even have to do that. Elastec is great and a pain in the butt at the same time. But that being said there's about 25 packs in my bag lol

Slowly z man has been creeping into my arsenal lol it started with my Ned rigs because they float and always stand straight up then my drop shots because they sit buoyant and seem to get bit the best now the buzz toads because I’m able to stop it and it will stay floating and recently I got some soft jerkbaits that I think might have a cool action that I’m going to try out by zman oh and the boar hogz creature bait the only thing I think it can’t replace are my stick bait lol

I like to have a swivel with lock or a snap on my line so i can quickly change lures while out fishing. I have caught fish with this setup but wonder if when I get skunked if this might be the reason. Does it make that much of a difference tying the line directly to the bait vs using a snap swivel etc?
