I was hunting another optic for my G 34-5 MOS and found a combo from C&H. So I bought the Holosun 509T plus the plate. Already have a Venom tightly secure with C&H plat. Forget Glock crap plates. Good luck to all.

C%H precision plate is much more secure than the factory plates. I had a problem with loosening of factory plates under heavy usage and a screw broke and had to have it drilled out. Switched to C&H plates and used Vibra-Tite and found it to be a much more secure way to mount my red dot sights.
@takingaim72983 жыл бұрын
Yeah man they are much better than mos plates. I just started using the vibratite and i think it best for guns

Interesting! I haven’t had any problems, but I haven’t put more than 200 rounds through my G19 so far. I may have to look into the C&H. Thanks for sharing this.

you are welcome. I think i was about 300 to 400 ( i think ) when noticed my red not hitting and it was cause the screws were loose. I really like the C&H, check them out. Thanks for commenting buddy

I purchased a Holosun EPS for my Glock 19 G5 MOS. I called Holosun and they recommended only 2 plate manufacturers: C&H Precision and Calculated Kinetics. Both are bulletproof. The C&H sits lower because the plate is thinner than the Calculated Kinetics because of their patented way the Red Dot mounts. While the Glock factory plates work, it's like the factory tires that come on most vehicles - not made for high or hard performance!

Thanks man. Yeah c&h Precision is awesome. Those plates are huge improvement , plus he backs anything he puts out. Overwatch triggers are my favorite. True Precision is putting out some great glock triggers too. I was looking at the rmrcc. Love Trijicon optics. Thanks again buddy

I had to buy a plate for my ‘19 MOS Gen 5 in order to mount my RMR properly. I paid $17 for my Trijicon plate. Only 2 hundred rounds to date. $75 steep but I guess you get what you pay for.

Hey man! Is the extractor visible if you look into the right-side screw hole of the slide?
@takingaim72982 жыл бұрын
yes i do believe you can. Using the right size screws are super important. I had friend put screws that were a little long on his 43x mos and ir was a mess. Also have to be careful about using too much thread locker. It can get in the components and cause issues. Hope this helps

Tried the glock plates on my 17mos for a holoson 507c the plate bent and was destroyed instantly idk why glock made that garbage cnh plate worked instantly and with no issues

yeah me neither. They should include better quality plates. I recently got a Shadow System MR920 Elite. Just a Glock gen 4 with lot of upgrades. They have a cool optic mounting system. and use no plates.

@@Don_Piscatella lol i ended up stripping my screw trying to remove the oem plate. I was so mad. I had to drill it out but finally got it put on and been great ever since. I am definitely getting that plate after watching your video. Thanks! What exact rmr are you running and backup sights?
@takingaim72984 жыл бұрын
Yeah man that plate is awesome. I m using a Trijicon type 2 rm06. It has a 3.25 moa . They are expensive but worth it. I have Dawson Precision blacked out irons on now. I use the 1/3 co witness. I like the blacked out sights cause they don't distant you when trying to get on target. If you are trying to get on your dot and u have a bright front sight your eye natural is pulled to bight things and i want to get on the dot as fast as i can. Hope this helps man and thank for the comment. Any other questions feel free to ask.

@@takingaim7298 thanks for the response. I’m leaning toward the ameriglow black front and rear sight. Also I want the rmr type 2 but what’s the difference in the rm03 vs rm06 vs rm09? Thanks for your input!
@takingaim72984 жыл бұрын
I believe the difference is the size of the dot. I like the RM06 , it has a 3.25 moa dot. It is about perfect i think for carrying because it is small enough for precise shots but still big enough to get on target fast. Also the RM06 has manual and auto brightness adjustment. Cool think about that is the dot brightness adjust automatically and you can still adjust if needed but mine is usually fine. The type 2 is the newest and i would get it. The type 1 wasn't made for a pistol but people started using them and it took off. The type 2 is made specifically for the pistol so the connection to the battery is better. It is just a better option in my opinion. I ve only been using dots for about 3 yrs and i think it is the future. It is almost like cheating lol. I just got a benelli m4 and will do a video on it soon. If u are new to dots i would recommend when u get it slowly practice punching it out on target and get faster as u find the dot easier. After some practice the dot will be where u want it to be without searching for it. Takes a little getting use to it but once u do you will be hooked. Lol sorry this so long. Hope this helps. Take my advice and don t skimp on ur dot. Most people that do regret it. Get you a Trijicon rm06 and you will LOVE it. It is what i consider a battle optic. If the crap hits the fan this is the optic u want.

Seems like C&H has gone down considerably in quality these days. Forward Controls and Radian might be the only 2 to go with now.
@takingaim7298 Жыл бұрын
That is sad to hear. I haven't bought a plate from them in a little while, but they were making the best stuff then. Hope they get back on track. Competition out there now and that is good for us especially. I ll look into radian and foward controls. Thanks for commenting.

@@takingaim7298 yeah have seen a few plates with very poor fitment issues and hardware failures. Has been reported a lot lately from what I have seen.
Nice setup. How about the defender plate. Which one serve better for EDC?
@takingaim72983 жыл бұрын
I think the mil/leo plate is best. It is metal and the defender is polymer. I haven t tried the defender but from the looks of it the mil/leo one like i have would be stronger. The one i have just gives u a much better lock up on the rmr. I ve fired many many rounds and hasn't loosened any. I m sure the defender works great i just think the leo/mil is awesome and so tough
