It's the "No matter what" part that astounds and alarms me and so many others. Trump once boasted that he could shoot someone in public and get away with it. (Setting aside that someone who would say such a thing should never hold office) Would you vote for him then? He's more and more openly advocating for fascism, with himself as the head of the one person government. And increasingly, MAGA folks seem OK with that. I actually saw a comment the other day that said, "Goodbye democracy. Trump 2024." - It got lots of likes and a few "Amen"s!
