Omggg I’ve seen that happen before with giving fake gold literally on my way to Vegas too!!! At a gas station this guy pulled up to a pump next to an old couple and he was saying that he had some gold jewelry to sell to get cash TOOO! And unfortunately the old couple bought some and gave them cash and then guy drove off. They definitely try and go for the less intimidating people, and the more vulnerable looking ones 👎🏽🥲

My husband and I experienced a similar story at a gas station. A family in a car approached us offering to give us their gold ring in exchange for cash in the LA area. I think they were Middle Eastern also had a driving a Mercedes asking us for cash when we drive a 2016 car. They actually approached my husband the same way you said it Louie "hey , brother!" My husband was having a hard time understanding what they were saying bcus like you said they were speaking ao fast. I walked over and said what's going on bcus they parked behind us blocked us in. I walked up and said no we don't have cash and they drove off. It's like the audacity to ask us for cash when your car is worth 5x more than ours was my trigger, haha

The same exact thing happened to me when I was desperate for a place to move into . I also went to look at the house and it was in fact vacant luckily the neighbors were there when I went and they told us that multiple people would go look at the house and they would tell them that it wasn’t for rent . Thank god I didn’t send them the money !

The last convo reminds me of how me and my bf are together. Our moms have been friends for 30+ years and I’d play with his sister when we were kids but he and I never spoke or anything until last year it’s honestly so crazy he was always there 🥰💕

I worked for 10yrs at a restaurant, they were really great cooks and friends but then entre la amistad me empezaban a tocar the sides of my thighs my back. Bump to me and touch my chest. LOUIE! Your story…the SAME thing happened to my boyfriend here in Colorado. We stopped at a gas station and a family pulled up asking for money too, offering their gold. My boyfriend took out his wallet and he kept asking for the $100 bills he had. My boyfriend felt bad gave him one bill, and he kept pushing for another, tambien con los kids y la wife in the car. Gave him $200 and speeds tf out. The gold was faaaaake.

Omg I almost got scammed the same way as Yoazti!!! They wanted me to pay $300 to submit the “application” but the place was like 20 mins from my job. So on my lunch break my coworker and I decided to drive to the house just to see the neighborhood and see if the house was in fact for rent. Why we get there, we see a family unloading their car in the driveway so I go up to them and ask them if their house was for rent and they said no. That they’ve had so many people come to their property asking the same thing. I felt so bad that I was disturbing them but they were really nice. I’m so happy I didn’t send them the $300.😂

They’re middle eastern scammers. It’s crazy because those exact same guys were in my hometown Yuma, AZ scamming people. The reason I know it’s the same guys is because at the time I worked as a 911 dispatcher and we started getting calls about people getting scammed by guys asking for gas money and giving them “gold”. It went viral because then they started traveling to other states. I’m glad you didn’t give them anything!
