I never thought I could have been so impressed with a people as I have been with the people of Ukraine in this time. At the same time it is such a ridiculous waste to see all these young russian boys who thought they were just going on an exercise up until the last minute before having to find out they were sent to invade their neighbors. I have many slav friends and they say there have been no hatred towards the russian people in Ukraine, only towards their leaders in the Kreml who time and time again have caused them so much pain. But who knows what will happen after this catastrophe. Putin must have sown the seeds of hatred in them for generations to come.

It is utterly surprising to me that Russia has frankly failed so miserably up to this point. Their logistics failures and heavy casualties suggests incredibly poor leadership, training, and morale. Puts one in mind of the military failures of Tzarist Russia in the early twentieth century: the defeat to the far weaker Japanese military in the Russo-Japanese War and their abysmal showing in World War I-which led to the collapse of the Russian monarchy. Putin likely on his way out the way things are going.

I don't see what's so surprising about this. Being from Argentina, it seems to me that people in USA and Europe have a poor understanding of what failed countries like Russia entail. It's not as if "some things are bad and others are good". EVERYTHING works terribly. There's no such thing as a 3rd world country with a 1st world military, or healthcare, or whathever. Some are saying that the Russians are still preparing for the assault on Kiev and that this is normal. It’s not normal for your super long convoy to be stalled or moving so slowly as we are seeing. Other people wonder why the convoy isn’t being destroyed while it is vulnerable. But it’s defended by air defenses and troops on the ground. The Ukrainians are able to pick off vehicles with drone strikes, but it’s slow going and not all vehicles are vulnerable to the drone weaponry.

I cannot believe what I am listening to here. The misinformation here is something to be seriously considered and examined. The US after the first gulf war imposed a twelve years no fly zone over Iraq while at the same time relentlessly bombing the country and its civilian infrastucture from the energy grid thru a dairy processing plant, commiting a pile of war crimes in the process. Now when the invasion of 2003 finally started after wrecking the country for 12 years, with almost twice the manpower than Russia is using in this current conflic, it took more than two months for the US to take control of Bagdad. Not to mention that the US assault was vicious and entirely disregarded iraqi civilian lives (I suspect racism had a role here). How can this woman make such bold claims only after 13 days of the invasion having started? Russia could have flattened Kiev if it wanted to, but it certainly will if NATO continues to send arms to Ukraine. Russia is showing restraint for various reasons but if pushed things will go really bad. Don't push lies, bring realistic analysts, not political appointees that have an agenda. Save lives, don't push irrational propaganda, people are dying unnecessarilly.
