You are absolutely right fr. Mark. If most of the People finally open their eyes and also their hearts and go back to Jesus and listen to Him. I see it as our duty as Catholic as christians to help people to find God and show them His mercy. There is a tremendous job to do and so less priests. That is why need to help them. Love this but.... as a child and young adult I would be so afraid of the dark confessional and mean nuns. Why would anyone seek confession with the scary people in authority representing God. I held onto guilt that was placed there by that church.

Idk if someone answered you by now. “Surrendering to Jesus” is different for everyone. Some people may not know Jesus but heard the name but continue to avoid talking to out spoken Christians, Catholics, priests or pastors to learn more about him, surrendering might mean just taking one day and start to doing their own research about Jesus. Others may have been raised Catholic, know they sin but not thinking their sin will affect them in the long run, surrendering might mean to come into realization that Jesus words are true and finally digging in to actually listening in mass to follow his instructions.

Look carefully and you will notice Jesus was speaking to his disciples when he talked about the Father's house. The father's house refers to the temple in a future day in Jerusalem. The revelation of the mystery as revealed to Paul was not known at this point. The gospel according to the revelation of the mystery is the gospel to preach for us today. The gospel of the grace of God is to all.

Lmao, Saint Faustina is a Catholic saint and nun in life. The message has always been the same since Christians were founded by Jesus 33AD. Learn about the Eucharist, and see what all the “trappings” and “rituals” are all about. Who said this “Amen, I say to you, unless you eat of my body, and drink of my blood, you will not have life within you!” Learn about the RCC, you will find your answer. Bring down our church’s “rituals” by learning all of it, why we do it, and finding the “loop holes” if you can. Do more than your comment reply on KZbin.

Original (1st century) Christianity met in peoples homes, there were no "priests". Preachers like Paul and Peter were married men The rituals did not enter into the church until the third century when Constantine was looking to unite the empire. He did so in part by unifying the pagan religion of Rome with Christianity, so gods were replaced by saints and Ishtar by Mary. Don't take my word for it, read the history.
