I think if he is going to get fired it will be when they get back from their road trip atleast. This team looks so boring atm. Each play is so easily predicable and now that the season is moving along. Other teams have figured out Cro's systems. As for content. I like the game recaps, but understand it could be a bit tiresome with the same season over, and over again. Maybe do a weekly recap, and maybe 1 or 2 videos of shift breakdowns, or player breakdowns. Maybe other Ducks related content too. @@smeagol6969 I just came here to support a content creator for the team I follow. I don’t know everything Cutter said before the games. I just know it was an embarrassing loss for the Ducks in an environment that was quite hostile towards him. I also feel bad for Flyers fans for having a high draft pick of their team refuse to sign with them. I can certainly understand them being upset about that, but I also think we are only left to speculate about what the full context / reasons were for Cutter’s decision. Perhaps Cutter was ‘disrespected’ by the Flyers management / organization in some way to prompt his actions. If we knew all the relevant details, then we could make an informed decision about wether we believe Cutter was warranted in refusing to sign or not. In any case, it would still be a subjective judgement and wouldn’t change the roster outcome. While being emotionally invested in a sports team is a big part of what makes the games exciting to watch, I prefer not to become overly so to the point where it affects me beyond the game itself. After all, it is just a game. Flyers and Ducks fans could at least be able to empathize with each other in that we are both following teams that have been struggling and out of the playoffs for the last several years and are not even in direct competition with each other to get in. It seems that both teams also have reason to be hopeful for the future and talented players to enjoy watching develop in the meantime. At least with all this drama, imagine how exciting the rivalry would be, if by some miracle, the Ducks and Flyers were to eventually meet in the Stanley Cup Finals!

Thank you for this video. We season ticket holders all need to send that warning to Verbeek through our ticket reps: Fire Cronin or we are not renewing. I’m out of patience. This will be the 7th straight season of missing the playoffs, by far the worst stretch in Ducks history. I’ll bet the Ducks have the worst overall record since 2018. But the biggest reason Cronin should be fired is the lack of development of most of our young players. If they continue to underperform, the Ducks might go another 7 seasons without making the playoffs, which is not what I signed up for when I “upgraded” to season tickets in 2016.

The ducks were VERY I mean VERY embarrassing in the blues and Fylers game, I was watching them on the tv. 4-1 first period and 2-0 first period. This is very unacceptable by the ducks who are coming off some good wins against good teams. My honest thought for me is they should trade Dumo for anything rn. It’s affecting mintys and zellys development. I mean dumolin is good but we need zelly or minty replacing him. How ever I STILL believe in the ducks. Still keep making those recaps. agree! The ducks org as a whole (on the ice play aside) makes it really hard to be a fan. Other than your channel, there's almost 0 quality content about our ducks. It feels like the ducks marketing and management are doing the bare minimum to promote their players and brand. Aside from the annual logo rebrand - there's pretty much nothing going on to get us excited about the team and players. PVB and Cronin are also possibly the least charismatic leaders in professional sports I've seen. If they can't get fans excited about their team, I can't imagine how they get the current players pumped or recruit free agents to become Ducks... There's plenty of evidence that they aren't able to do this already.

Kind of a late adopter to the ducks. Live in WA and found my way to the ducks through my wife's family who live in the area and started watching your videos a few weeks back. Coming from the SEA sports scene I totally get what you mean about showing up to games when you are being given a cert level of effort from team ownership or coaching. The mariners absolutely dump a firehose worth of pain on everyone hope in them every year. Its disheartening and tough to put up with forever. We are fans of Zelly in particular, since we are also huge Silvertips fans in the WHL. Its painful to see how little time he's getting when he keeps showing solid play.

Very important note.. im not sure if u have seen other nhl channels. The NHL hunts down all clips of actual NHL game footage, claiming them. Like many channels before cutting them out completely.. something to keep in mind. I love your channel for us EU folks its hard as most of us never went to an actual game. I SUPER appreciate your channel especially because it’s my main source for ducks news other than the NHL app, but personally I like hearing from fellow fans anyway. I think Verbeek was just telling us what we wanted to hear at the beginning of the season. I think he always wanted to get one more top pick, while teaching the young guys to focus on defense, and ultimately drive down their value. The Samueli's have always put an internal cap on this team when we aren't winning, hence why we are never the team to take "bad contracts" for draft picks. They also made it sound like Matt McIlvane, the gulls head coach was the coach of the future, but with their play that looks like another disaster waiting to happen. I just feel like the owners are spending so much money on the rebrand and OC vibe that they want to do everything thing else cheaply, like hiring first time coaches, not "buying" draft picks, squeezing Z and Drysdale, letting some of the other RFAs go like benoit, and groulx, over charging for tickets, even though we still are bottom 5-10, $20 beers etc.

Man this was hard to watch, and not because anything you said was wrong but rather…just understandable. You sound like someone who is passionate about this team but the years of mediocre results has finally gotten too much. I get that, even though I’m a duck fan from old who left hockey behind when I was a teenager after they rebranded away from The Mighty Ducks. I got back into it when I found out they went back to their roots. That, and my cousins got into hockey and I wanted to be able to talk with them about it. Your words cut deep for sure, as I’ve seen myself go from as you said, “cautiously optimistic” to really down about our team. Something happened after the Blues/Flyers game. It felt like we had no energy or drive. Heck maybe Cronin found out he will be fired after this long break so now he’s kinda checked out. I don’t know, but I think I agree with your sentiment. I’m sure he is a good coach and cares about players…but he doesn’t seem like a great communicator who’s able to articulate and relate to his players perhaps. I just don’t know. Do you fire him and hope a new coach can come in and turn it all around? One could make the argument our players are too inexperienced and would need more time to adjust to a new system. If you’ve made it this far, please don’t stop making videos. I die for any news about our team, or discussions about them. I want to hear “what ifs”, and “who’s available/ would be a good fit and why’s”. I hope we can finally have some excitement soon, whether that is just the players clicking/win, a cool trade or a new HC. Guess we will see.

Philly fans are absolute trash, but I have some major concerns about Cutter. I get he was trying to keep a cool head and not get baited into a dumb penalty, but he was incredibly soft against the Flyers. Like show some grit and toughness, especially if you're team is playing like dogshit against a fan base that has been hammering you for months. Also, what are these line combos with Leo? The guy has nothing around him to work with. It's concerning to see his drop-off over these past few games, albeit I've stopped watching halfway through so I might be missing something.

Philly game was the worse game I’ve seen in 8-10 years. Both from how we played and how we responded throughout the game. Cronin should have called a time out after the 3 goal and tell this team to fight back. But he waits until after 6 goals when the game is almost over and the players are just going through the motions. The owners need to step in and fire Cronin if Verbeek is not responsible enough to do so. Verbeek talks a tough game but he now needs to walk the talk. The Ducks need better leadership and it starts at the top. Keep the recap…It reinforces we are all on the same page.

nah fam I feel you on the frustration so many stupid decisions and then when good decisions are made and we get 5 or 6 wins then foolish cronin arbitrarily changes crap for no reason I feel your pain. What really really irritates me though is how cronin is having us play when we have a lead. quite a few games now where we got dominating strong early leads and then completely let off the gass and play stupid dump and chase which gives me nightmares from 3 years ago and instantly other team comes back like its just dumb. I know for a fact all of these players are not this bad. You do not get to this level of hockey by being bad lol. We need people like traffic cone killorn off the damn ice and more of the kids on the ice. It is annoying some of the decisions that are being made and I am so damn sick of our shitty powerplay the powerplay coach should have been fired 1 week into the season. So I feel your pain fam. I cant believe I can say I am happy i didnt have funds to get my student rush tickets this season because it honestly would have just been a waste of a drive from riverside and paying for parking lol. I miss the golden days of perry getzlaf ryan selanne etc :( and we have talent that could be that level here but we dont have any damn development staff around them. its hard to be a ducks fan right now downright painful.

This teams key players are so young. Honestly the problem I feel is more verbeek. Why did he hire Cronin in the first place? Why bring in a player like Fabbri? This team needs to bring in leadership players who will bring a culture of accountability. Until verbeek is willing to improve the peripheral players on this roster changing coaches probably won’t make much of a difference.

I would like you to still do the game recaps, but I understand where you're coming from. Personally, I'm not spending money on the Ducks this season like I did last year simply for the facts you've been pointing out. It's obvious the boys are not having fun which leads to the disengagement that where seeing during the games. The organization's marketing, social media, and fan engagement departments all seem to be out to lunch on creating content to get people excited about the Ducks. I feel the message the Ducks are putting out right now is, Ya, we suck right now, but when O.C. Still need your videos daily. This team is so bad on content. You and District 5 seem to be the only dedicated ducks info people with Derek Lee being more team news. What the ducks need is to hire someone like what the sharks did and snagged brodie brazille. I still think they are going to ride out Cronin for the rest of the season. But can see them bring in Bruce to finish the season like he did in Vancouver. I just don't know who is next up. Definitely not the gulls coach who looked like beekers future pick.

Please keep doing the recaps, they are wonderful. I look for them after every game and I’m not a big sports recap guy at all, your channel is really the only one I care about for sports lol. I live in Missouri, so, it’s nice not hearing about the Blues. I’m not a very negative sports person, like, I don’t get up and shout at the television or whatever but that Philly game had me a little hot. When we were getting shut out in the Philly game, when it panned over to the bench and Cronin is screaming a the boys “have some f*%king pride!” I’ve been there and that sucks. Especially if it’s coaching and GM’s fault. There is no worse feeling that getting shut out, but then having someone chew you out instead of encourage you. At that point it’s just trying to score 1 point not to shoot and it causes contention among teammates. Honestly, I just think the boys low morale right now. If Cronin isn’t fired, I think something that NEEDS to happen is team bonding in a big way. You have to have that rapport and morale when you are “in the trenches” or you are going to fight each other and fall apart. Cronin needs to learn to bond with the young guys. We have some amazing players, and SOMETIMES they work together in a wonderful way like a machine. But it’s seems like a lot it’s just a bunch of random parts working but not as one machine. Go Ducks! P.s. I got my Dostal ducks jersey yesterday and I’m super pumped.

@@joshuaneal7552 Philly fans are the worst and most classless in American sports. I can recount over the top incidents at Eagles, Phillies, and 76ers fans. A video of an Eagles fan calling a female Packers fan a horrible name went viral this week. A Phillies fan once deliberately vomited on an opposing fan, and 76ers fans cheered the announcement that an injury to an opponent’s player was serious enough to keep him out of the rest of a playoff series. I never heard ANY other crowd EVER cheer an injury, nor chant F U in unison to an opponent, and I’ve been watching lots of sports for over 50 years.
