The fact that I saw the thumbnail and immediately recognized Scalar, because I thought it was really good back at the start of Wish, but a ton of other people were saying that it was that fusion that was better.

How are we relating a fusion to a pulse 😭 the fusion was probably the best weapon from that season, the majority of people play pve so for the majority of players the fusion was a much better weapon. Not that you can compare a fusion to a pulse lmao. There were plenty of pvp videos with scalar but with headseeker instead. As that was a better perk before the high ground changes.

Been using Scalar with Arrowhead Brake, Accuratized Rounds, Enhanced Keep Away, & Enhanced Headseeker for a while now. The gun is absolutely nasty as hell and I'm always surprised I don't run in to anyone using it. Well... until you made this video and now the word will be out.

I've been using it with Headseeker since Season of the Wish, but I may try it out with High Ground. This is one of my favorite crucible weapons.

Can confirm Bygones SLAPS this season. I've got 2, keep away and highground, zen moment and high ground. Both are two burst they're silly good

I really thought High Ground would be one of those perks that fills out a bigger perk pool to make it harder to get your god roll... Then find out it's Killclip levels of damage, you only have to be a metre higher than your enemy & it has x1 x2 x3 levels to the perk!? Kudos to the players that twigged how damn good it was long before anyone else!! Scalar being a higher RPM I'd imagine makes it all kinds of nasty!! Although been hearing Bygones is FAR from a nostalgia pick & is an absolute monster!

It does not. It requires you to be on solid ground and not floating/ jumping. However, you can proc it by getting kills even when floating. Or you can get around that by using stasis and glacier nades to have a "solid ground" to stand on.

Brother so many other KZbinrs have talked about this already, I’ve seen at least 8 others talk about high ground. It’s not that big a secret and even if it was, yeah it may suck for you who wants to abuse the fact that you knew and no one else did, it helps other people who are newer to the game and don’t know anything figure stuff out and gives them a higher chance of enjoying and continuing to play the game
