In my area of Northern Ireland the next MOT appointment available is January 17th, 2025. I cannot book it until 30 days beforehand but can drive provided it is 100% roadworthy. Try selling a car over here.

I'm in NI.....it's definitely more than 30 days beforehand, I think it's 2 or 3 months. I was able to book both mine in Jan/Feb for May/June dates, I did get the message it was too early but kept trying until it let me book....(possibly a glitch, I've done it the past few years)...The 30 day thing is for an emergency date if your tax is going to run out before you can get a test date.

Looking good, I'd have parked them nose out tho, plenty to do there bud. I'd cluster the tatty ones together or even put covers on, ones that are 90% OK have then sort of on display, people coming round might go for them. If you got a lad in he could be washing and vacuuming the tidy ones, if it's just say a service people might go for that New polish looks great.

I serviced an A200 1.3 saloon last week....2020, I was quite impressed with it. Oil+filter+air filter+cabin filter plus front and rear pads, topped up fluids, check over and reset service warning. £130 in parts and I did it for a pack of beer😂......£766!!!! Is the Mercedes price.😮

I'd double bubble now you've got a forecourt, some on display with prices in, old skool type pitch for the locals, tightly cluster the ones too tatty to display, maybe 10 of your cleanest on display with prices, attack local trade as well as Internet, only put ones out that are clean and just need the minimum.

He's out of his mind getting involved in that, even if you did all those repairs no ones going to go for it when they see the mot history, best bit is last mot (still current) is advisory free (!) no wonder lady got a refund, you'd end up in criminal court over that. Tbh saying lady is at fault just because she signed saying car needed welding for next test is just stupid, she'd have no idea it was a death trap, brakes are shot as well, bet she paid 3k for it with an advisory free mot. James wants to stop getting involved in s**t like that. Car wants crushing tbh.
