The 2 biggest names in the squad are from that era. That have been woeful for a number of managers. It is about being ruthless, we kept getting rid of 50% of the rot rather than all of it. Only a few players left, but the big ones are Rashford, Shaw, Bruno imo. Those 3 senior players are nowhere near good enough and their weak mentalities trickle down.

Point 1 has been the problem since Ole was in charge. We may get results and top 4 but in the long term it goes up in smoke. We haven't come close to compete for the Premier League title and this season we're in a relegation fight. 5 years of shocking squad building and it got worse under Eggman Pagan has come to this.

This narrative of spoilt players amuses the hell out of me. The real problem is selling or releasing players and replacing them with players not half as good in the Premier. The barrage of criticism directed at McTominay, AWB, Fred, Martial, Lingard, Pogba, Sancho, Elanga. They, and Greenwood, now all gone. Those guys finished 3rd, then 2nd in Ole’s last 2 seasons. Replaced by the likes of Antony, Hojlund, Zirkzee, Ugarte etc for big bucks. Did United really replace the players who’ve left with better quality? Plain for all to see, they did not. Thats on the club. Not Marcus Rashford.

Just fixed Bruno. The players listen him more than they listen the coach. When we lost the game, Bruno tried everything by himself, not with the team. He felt like his responsibility. When the captain emotional too much then the players started trying to do themselves and they’re afraid of Bruno. He was better player before he’s a captain.

The problem was never the manager. Even the players are good in their own right. They're just not a team. This is a result of changing managers like underwear every 2 years and doing partial rebuilds. Now we have a squad of players who aren't suited to any particular style. Some are relationist, some are counter attacking players, some are positional players, some are possession players. No singular identity joining all of them.

Fernandes has a tendency to rush his passing and to be tactically anarchic. When he gets emotional due to circumstances on the pitch these tendencies become magnified and also impacts on his teammates. He is a great player in a transition team, high risk high reward football, at least to a point. But Amorim has been recruited to change United to be a team which cherishes possession and dominates games. As such, Fernandes is unsuited to this vision, this way of playing. He should be sold.

Most of these players have that ''I made it'' mindset and think they have nothing to fight for since they all earn a fortune. If we try to stop this and pay reasonable salaries, it will be hard to get big names as this is the main factor when they come to United. The problem is that these ''big names'' never achieved anything here, with a few exceptions, so we might as well sell them all and play with the youth set-ups for 5 years until we are half-decent again.

The 3 key factors to shift things in the team's favour: 1. Buy a ruthless striker such as Gyokeres. 2. Buy a dangerous LWB such as Davies. 3. Prioritise set piece defence training. The culture of the fans won't change. It has to come from the squad. Identify weakness, make it a strength, climb the ladder, regain confidence, and everything else falls into place. He's had what nine games to take a look at the first team squad now so it's time to start taking a look at the kids. Put Collyer, Amass, Wheatley, Kokonki and co on the bench and then when you sub Ugarte do it for Collyer and say "go on son, show me what you've got in the next 30mins" and see what that does to the energy levels. Hungry kids being given a chance will run their nuts off for the team, right now I only see an upside from doing this and he might unearth a gem or two and save us a bunch of money in the process.

How do Barca, Real and Bayern players cope with the pressure that comes with playing for those massive clubs? I used to believe the whole pressure thing but the players of those clubs seem to handle it pretty well. Besides that, how is it possible for INTERNATIONAL'S to crumble under the pressure? What's more daunting, representing a COUNTRY or a club? I think it simply comes down to a decade of poor recruitment, fans overhyping average players and those players buying into the hype. There's only one way out of this mess in my opinion... Sell everyone apart from Mazaroui, De Ligt, Ugarte, Amad, Yoro and Mainoo, for 10-20m each, buy 6 well scouted, experienced players in the age range of 24-26, simultaneously promote 11 (including Mainoo) u21s / u18s, have them be bench-warmers / back-up for a season or two then replace the ones who aren't good enough with some more well scouted experienced players.

Keep Amorim in charge and don't loose the patience and remove him after sometime. Let him work and stick with a manager. Apart from that, players payout should be based on their performance. If a player doesn't perform for 3 consecutive matches, deduct his weekly salary to half or something like that. And United supporters in the stand should bring flags if allowed like Dortmund fans do. the toxicity of this club from whether its the player itself , the hierarchy or the fan base even the media, it's so freaking stress to play for this club man! Just take Rashford situation for example, RA has been asked the same question by the media over and over again in different press conference, the pundits are still talking about it until today. This is very stressful for the whole club. I remember when ETH have to make an interview and explain to the journalist how he wants to set up this united team. Even the manager have to explain himself to those journalist that probably knowing very little on team strategy.

It is a simple fix, but our fans aren’t patient enough for it. Simple but painful. All new signings should train separately and independently from the existing squad. They should have no contact, other than in games. They eat in different places. They train separately. They should have absolutely zero contact in any way shape or form between new signings and current squad. Keep all under 21s and get rid of anybody on more than £150,000 a week. After two seasons, you will have a worthy squad. However, we will be in a relegation battle. Briefly. It is one step back to go endless steps forward. We won’t sign large online player profiles, but I would also stipulate in their contract that whilst they play for Manchester United, they are not on any social media. One year from now we could have all the under 21s, the new signings (Nous etc) and whoever we sign in the next two windows and all the overpaid, overhyped, overrated losers we have there now either gone or training in a whole different environment no way near Carrington. Ruthless and exactly what a winner would do.
