Guards have an absolute advantage against post scorers on the perimeter, giving them the ability to defend post scorers in the post would be like giving postscorers the speed to defend guards outside the paint. 2. I agree sbmm causing people to wait for games is unacceptable, but the complaints about having to sweat every game and not cool. Average 2k players have to sweat every game because they're average. Better 2k players are now getting a taste of that.

I got you. What height are you? Size has a huge impact this year. Interior is more important than block this year, blocks just for paint patroller which is really good on gold and up. Strength matters for not getting bullied. If you can’t move or turn fast it’s your agility, makes a huge difference this year. Try to get it in the 80s on a big if possible. Same with speed. Vertical has huge impact as well for snagging, not as much as the actual rebounding attribute but helps a lot. Try going 83 at minimum for pogo on Hof. All that being said just like every year positioning is king so if you jump for a contest in the paint it gets real hard to rebound as the other player will have positioning, so u gotta learn when and how to jump and when to play hands up defence.

All of yall 2k youtubers are complaining about Rhythm shooting as a PG. Ya'll are just trash. I'm a PG and over 50% using Rhythm shooting. The shot is different is you hold on to turbo or not. After your iso move release turbo and you get a stand still shot. This may lead to another animation or variant or or set shot animation. But this is why they say look at your anoimation for all shots. Its not just one window anymore. Its like RL when you shoot all shots are not the same. This is what you call creating a skill gap. Learn the shot and use rhythm shooting to perfect it. Every time I take a shot 2k25 I know if I'm going to miss before I finish the action. While yall button players wait for the green light animation to play. Just get good at the game. If you only play with the stick you wont complain. I was the same way at the start and went back to the button but switch back when my results was the same. Over time I got the hang of shooting and its way better. Maybe get off park/online and play Pro or higher games in mycareer with high risk shooting. The AI is the same and the settings are the same as online modes you you can really learn how to play the game shooting and all.

This is by far the worst 2k of all time I don’t understand how a company can make basketball games for 25-30 years and get it wrong every single time.. The contest system it’s worst it’s ever been.. You can have 5 dudes jumping at you and the shot is open You missed wide open layups but you can might heavily contested layups just by tapping square.. It’s so stupid.. can’t believe it’s gotten this bad how hard is it to re create 2k19 and 20???

badge i use rhythm shooting on my 7’1 wemby build with 74 three and 80 mid and i shoot way more consistent than my 6’3 wit 94 three, (yes i take moving shots fades contested) There also is a trick where you Roll the analog around rather than do down up and work better to me

In real life of your small guard, you’re nine times out of 10 extremely skill, especially if you make it to the A. Not mad about gaurds getting most of new animations

Well as someone who plays red mostly there’s almost never post scorers and I feel like since they changed the algorithm and game mechanics in 2k17 post scorers have drastically lost their commonality and effectiveness

They never removed pulling the chair, they just changed the button activation for it
