Jen is gonna be Jen. She never listened to her dad last couple seasons. Not to mention, she lied to him so many times and left him while he was still there for her...but it's his fault. Ok

No, that is not why it happened...She is putting the blame on him trying to grieve. She knew about her daughter's addiction, did not tell him and says it is his fault. Jen was never a person who could be controlled or contained and he is right about the addiction, she knew better as she herself has issues and then she deflected to hid her guilt from herself. The fault in all this is communication and dishonesty.
