Written Version: -Seraphs now gives AP from Mana + a shield based off current mana + 250 -Seraphs gives 10 ability haste + when finished a total of around 120 AP -I tested Ludens + Shadowflame vs Ludens + Seraphs, the damage difference was something like 1300 Shadowflame, 1150 Seraphs, so barely a big difference -When you get to 3rd item Seraphs becomes even with Shadowflame if not better (Building Deathcap / Void staff 3rd) -I think void is best 3rd because most champs get around 50 to 60 MR just from base stats, a single MR item puts them into an extreme cost efficiency with Void over Shadowflame. Deathcap can be better but void is 2800 vs 3600. -So for a tiny bit weaker 2 item spike Seraphs outpaces + gives 10 AH + shield that will outscale at 3, 4, 5 items eventually This doesn't take in account for ANY defense items like Banshees and Zhyonas (unless you could Seraphs shield). This is just the best 3 item spike for Mana Mages who want to be the most threatening

Would Orianna not really love this build path? She loves: A bunch of mana CDR Pen I think she could be really good with this, and she gets bonus stats from her E, and the health from items combined with Seraph's makes her really tanky against burst picks.

I think you can also skip manaflow if you buy tear on 1st back and get some AP rune from sorcery page

Have u given much thought to roa, I know u don't play those champs as much, but seraphs synergizes well with roa other than the obvious. roa gives mana when u lose hp, this goes well with the lifeline since it scales off of current mp (which if activated is probably near max).

Have you considered that building shadowflame also makes your void staff spike better since percent pen makes flat pen stronger (since percent is applied before the flat pen) also the shield is good on leblanc and other champs but not every mage. mages like lux and xerath who can keep their distance might favour the extra damage over the shield eventhough the haste is definitely something to consider i do know overpen is wasted pen so shadowflame + void probably is not that good on ranged squishies who don't build mr but i assume it outpaces seraph's with even melee squishies who build a single mr item

Hey Pekin You should try Xin Zhao mid, better yet AP Xin Zhao mid. I've been doing it lately and you dominate lane and once with some AP, you can take almost any trade and heal it back up super fast. (Xin Zhao has a 65% AP ratio on healing every third auto, NOT LIFESTEAL, FLAT HEALING) Build: Lethal Tempo, Triumph, Alacrity/Tenacity, Coup de Grace (not last stand bc you heal out of the damage bonus) usually domination sudden impact and ult hunter to boost your damage Items: Doran's Ring Nashors/Berserkers Riftmaker is the core of the build hourglass, deathcap, spirits visage, cosmic drive are the best items after two items Please check out xin's ap ratios, its very strong

What I found out recently is Ryze with riftmaker (and seraphs second), since riftmaker healing is reduced by AoE damage, but Ryze only deals single target that can spread, he benefits of non-reduced omnivamp. That and seraphs giving a shield, he is much more durable (more than RoA seraphs from what I've seen, and the damage is also way better). Any thoughts?

good play. 2:40-3:00 you should use flash for kill. You know she has no flash from lvl 1 and won't be able to react to flash w ignite etc.

I completely see what you're saying about the stats, but I think for Leblanc specifically, you are getting very little value out of the shield, because of how slippery she is, also the lifeline usually triggers when your passive pops. So there's a bit of time in stealth that might lower the value of the shield for that duration. Thus, I don't see Seraph's as the end-all be-all, at least for LB or another AP assassin like Ekko. I think the magic pen, might keep you alive longer ironically, by bursting your targets faster. Also, you should theory craft Horizon's Focus after the buff

I think Syndra is definitely a tear enjoyer imo, but the downside is Seraphs is ur defensive item, so if you are versus a Zed or something it might take too long to fully stack tear instead of finishing a Zhyonas

Shadowflame is better if the enemy builds no MR and/or the enemy has shields. But yeah, generally going Seraphim is just better

Not at all. The collector is good for snowballing an aggressive lane, but that's all. It gets outscaled by LDR so fast. Against a level 3 kassadin without an armor rune, LDR has more pen than the collector... lol Shadowflame is good because the base MR is way lower than base armor. And normally you have more than one pen item e.g. boots, protobelt, ludens, so its way more effective than collector. You can even pair it with void later on and literally do true damage. You can one shot squishies all game long...
