Great video! B.A.S.S. is definitely heading in the right direction vs mlf

Sounds like BASS is headed in the Positive Direction for the Anglers not to the Negative Side!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!!!

good news. I really dig your channel and have enjoyed your videos documenting last season. I fished eq's this year, did horrible, but with new payouts I would have cashed a check at loz. It's really cool they made that change.

I like your content. Thx! That doesn’t sound like enough to live off of.

Thanks for watching! Winnings, especially at the Opens level, never has been a sustainable option to make a living alone. The secret to making a living at any level in this sport is to build enough value to where you can sustain yourself off of sponsorships, or you will need to have an already profitable business. There’s a good living to be made in this industry, but it just takes creativity to piece it all together.

@SonarFishing whats the best chatterbait other then the jackhammer in your opinion for the guys who cant afford the JackHammers for bankfishing?

I would like to fish leech and the Mississippi as a co angler. Do you think there will be openings?
@SonarFishing Жыл бұрын
Im pretty sure you should be able to get in to that one as a co-angler. At every event this year there wasn’t a full field of co-anglers.

I wonder if BASS smells blood in the water with the MLF drama going on with cutting the size BPT pros after this next year.

you made $15,000 how much did you spend? tell the younger crowd what to expect!
@SonarFishing Жыл бұрын
You are definitely right, 15k isn’t enough to live off of. My expenses, including entry fees were around 40k, not including my overhead for every day living and paying for a boat and truck. Now, the good news is for those younger anglers coming up is that there are lots of opportunities to make money in this industry, but it’s necessary to focus on building your audience with social media and building a good sponsorship portfolio. Tournament fishing is my passion, but it is not a good way to make money without being a good promoter these days. I’ve done some videos on this topic, and I will try to do some more.

The math to make a decent living via tournaments just doesn't add up. Most anglers attempting that journey will essentially go broke.

Very true for the tournament anglers that think their primary income should come from tournament winnings
