It perplexes me. You get a lot of people who are probably 20ish who, if you queried them on MLK (or any number of people living or campaigning in a more fraught environment), would need to say "Oh, he didn't understand racism" or infantilize him by asserting that he had been contaminated by the ideas of his oppressor and didn't truly know his mind. This isn't a thoughtful "I politely disagree". This is "I know better and have a level of confidence to make grand statements on camera". Humility might be a better aesthetic. But some of those people read as barely containing visceral disgust.
@truthoverlies64342 жыл бұрын
@@victorcates9330 MLK was a bolshevist stooge whose inorganic social movements helped justify political subversion. It was probably tied in with the same people who offed JFK to put LBJ in office so he could sign all sorts of garbage, like the 1965 immigration act. MLK was pretty much the BLM of his day, and people think he's great because establishment propaganda forced his Jesus-esque story on us throughout our entire childhoods telling us of the wonders of his speech, and other garbage. The entire worldview we were raised into was BS, and it ties in with the worldview that has white leftist being polled to have a racial out-group preference. The worship of MLK and the entire "civil rights era" is the same ideology and worldview that has all of you people being so deathly afraid of being called racist that you submit and cower.
@nukiesduke68682 жыл бұрын
What's worse is if they are fed that type of rhetoric and propaganda whilst simultaneously dehumanizing/demonizing the other group. Indoctrinating a group of people telling them they are victims and that other group is to blame on top of what I mentioned is a recipe for disaster. So it's hilarious how you have these activists and media pundits essentially trying to fight reecism but ultimately what they're doing is making the divide so much worse to the point you can expect group on group violence eventually. Then when it becomes blatantly obvious how said media shows weird favoritism sweeping the crimes of one group under the rug that'll just rile up even MORE people. The media quite literally is the enemy of the people.

This is so true. I think Matt once quoted some statistic where people said that racism had little to no effect on their daily lives. This poll was done in the 90s. They did the same one just a couple years ago and for some reason our super intense anti racism policies led to way higher levels of alleged victim hood. I had to suffer this through high-school, all of my friends made me feel less for being a different race than them, calling me names and saying racist things (bc apparently they could if they are the minority.) then they would hide behind their own "victimized" stereotypes. Foolishly I treated them how they treated me ( apparently I couldn't because I'm not a minority.) and it caused a rift where they wouldn't admit to their actions after I confronted them. I even apologized for my "outburst" wised up and stopped hanging out with them. All of the sudden I was labeled racist by a 3rd party who didn't know or care about my side of the issue. I took it to the school counselor because bullying began from students of that race in the school like a mob. People that I didn't even know. She didn't want to touch the issue, so I was continually bullied until graduation. Trauma is still there, and seeing all of these events unfold remind me every day that people will avoid accountability wherever they can and whenever convenient . Me and a couple of classmates were waiting on the bus after a schooltrip, and a group of people, about 17 years old, from north-eastern African descent (not black) came up to us and asked for sigarettes. None of us smoked, so they asked for money instead, which we refused, we had just enough money for the bus... The slurs that came out of them shocked me, also first time I got called a racist, and that we were lucky they had girls with them, or they would have beat us up... How were we racist? We just didn't give them what they wanted... That experience could have made me a racist myself, but I've met plenty of people from different ethnicities since then, that were just lovely people, but it's the bad apples that ruin it for all, even for white people...

These “reasons” are personalities, not racism. It’s ignorant to believe one race is racist due to how they act and how they are. That’s like saying all the black people in this video is racist. They are not. The ones in this video are. We are ALL the human race, PERIOD. Start getting that through your head so we can start getting along better. Because I am really getting tired of the hate.

I use to get offend at videos like that but I got tired of being upset with other people's opinions that I could never change. Loving to hate urself is the other side of depression.. Two sides of the same coin. Loving to find the better side of you in hate or depression, or finding the dark side in things you might consider good, to improve upon that which is already good to become better, is transcending that coin itself.

Story Time 😳 So for the most part I'm pretty introverted and I don't get out too much cuz I'm a single parent to two toddlers And I work crazy hours so I haven't had to deal with so much reverse racism as I call it but today was a rarity and it was pretty freaky.. so I had to go to a mall that had a torrid inside because I had a couple of returns I needed to do for certain things that I had bought online. Anyways I pulled into the parking lot and was trying to go down like the next aisle and there was a huge suburban in front of me and they just stopped and didn't move for a good like 45 seconds and then they started backing up and came very close to hitting my car and we're continuing to back up so I finally honked my horn to let them know 'hey there's a car behind you please just don't hit the car'. I wasn't trying to be rude, wasn't trying to be hateful, nothing - just ensuring that a car accident didn't happen! Well next thing you know they start pulling their car to the side and it is a black woman and a black man and as soon as the woman saw me she started flipping out. This lady rolls down her window and just starts throwing her hands all crazy; I couldn't really hear but I'm sure I was getting cussed out and so I had to just throw up my arms and like my hands in an IDK sorry position and I tried to convey that I wasn't trying to start anything I was just trying to tell them that I was behind them so they didn't back up into my car. Luckily I just let it go and I was like I am sorry in a sense I didn't really get to say the words but I tried to convey it with my hands and I guess they got the point anyways I drove past I parked my car and I just had to take a second to breathe because it was just really scary for a moment there cuz this woman was really on the verge of getting out of her car and looks like she was just ready to beat me senseless. Mind you when I honked at this vehicle in front of me I had no idea what race these people were no idea. I also want to convey that at the end of the day them being frustrated with me may have nothing to do with the fact that I was white and may be road rage related or just irritable or who knows but all I know was it was a bit scary and you know for someone who is very introverted and a very peaceful and calm individual who is also a mother of two toddlers it was really just weird and I didn't really know what to do. I just didn't quite understand why me trying to warn them that my car was behind them and that they were within a couple inches of hitting me somehow got turned around into them acting like they wanted to fight me - the second she saw me she just freaked out. I'm just I'm kind of getting tired of you know all of these people really just looking at the color of my skin and seeing me as an enemy when I have done nothing to provoke it. It is exhausting.. and you know some of it isn't even race motivated some of it is just people are angry and they want to find a reason to blame that anger on someone else and therefore release that anger and the sad thing is that it'll never bring them any amount of peace and all it does is bring people into that mentality with you. They say that misery loves company and it is absolutely correct and it's just depressing that that mind frame is so prevalent in society today. Sorry this was so long I'm using my voice to text and I always tend to ramble a bit when I do that but hopefully this conveys how troublesome some some of this behavior can be in daily life and at the end of the day I'm just grateful that I had enough common sense to know to convey to them that I wasn't trying to provoke any thing because if I was more aloof then I may not have been able to diffuse the situation so well and it could have led to a much more serious situation that I genuinely want no part of.
