Almost all of the "Republicans" they got for the video were in favor of abortion and other progressive policies, and when their squishiness wasn't enough the producer stepped in to share her progressive values. Bill Maher is the only guy I Lauren to anymore, he has people on who he disagrees with heat & there, he calls out the b/s on the democrats, etc basically he's no shrivel will bow down to spare the masters or audience, he says what he believes, & that honesty is so important. I get the feeling that these Republicans aren’t Republicans. The whole situation with my friend had a pregnancy scared, and we help them get an abortion was not some thing that I feel like a Republican should do. If I were in that situation, I would gather my friends together and see how we could help that family in the early stages of having a child. We’re a community we’re supposed to help that family and celebrate the wonderful bringing of new life into the world. I would be willing to drop my big plans, and get married, to father my child and provide for my family if it was me with the pregnancy scare. I agree this “experiment” could’ve been handled much better without bias being blatantly shown by the director, even if both the director and I are democrats- back seating really doesn’t make you look good. The one positive thing that I could take from this video, would be the fact that some of the people were able to get along at the end and claim that they’d be willing to hang out with one another. Your message about being able to be friends with the other party is also good, as I do believe true friends can stay friends no matter the ideal/political differences… (unless it’s like… someone believes murder is okay.) I’ve honestly been very 50/50 with your content, especially with the differing views- but being able to hear what your thoughts are allows me to put further thought into my own opinions. Edit: I just hope that instead of the constant yelling and slandering of one another, we, as people, are able to actually communicate with each other about our thoughts and opinions without it turning into a cat fight. That means actually LISTENING! Not just sitting and waiting for YOUR turn to speak.

I used to be liberal until I had my second son. My husband and I were having a lot of problems in our marriage and I really thought we were going to get a divorce, When I found out I was pregnant with my second. I thought this baby would complicate things so I took Blue Cohosh and Mugwort to try to self abort at 8 weeks pregnant. I bled a bit but nothing else. At 14 weeks pregnant I Googled abortion clinics near me and there was one 2 miles away. It was while I was googling that, that I felt my baby kick inside me. I took it as a sign from the creator that this wasn't right as you typically can't feel baby's kicks before twenty weeks. It was then that I realized how selfish I was for trying to rid him like he was a problem. That he was an obstacle instead of a human being. I got marriage counseling hardcore and tried to work on our marriage and now my baby is healthy and 4 months old and I couldn't be happier.

it’s only human to think about yourself and how much more complicated your life will be when you have to live it for someone else, in my eyes, being conservative means you think about the future before you act, conserving what’s important instead of throwing it away because it’s harder, and being progressive means you don’t care what you fuck up as long as you progress personally, regardless of my beliefs, it’s truly honorable to have done what you did in this day and age, even if it should be the norm, your life will be more complicated for 18-22 years, so that someone else can live a life of 75+, that sacrifice is worth conserving the future of the little man kicking, thank you and no matter how hard things ever are, remember that what you are doing/have done is the trickier, yet more rewarding path in the long run, whether that’s for you or 5 generations from now, there’s going to be someone that owes everything they’ve done to you and those before you

My grandma gave birth to my mom at a staggering 13 years old. And her whole family was telling her to get rid of her turned against her and really wasn't being a family at all to her if anyone had the right to choose it would be her and yet she went through with it. And because of that she now has 2 grandchildren and still says she dosent regret it at all. An unplanned pregnancy can be scary but that doesn't mean its the end of the world. Plus takeing away someones right to live just because you didnt plan for it to happen is ridiculous in its own right

I'm a conservative that grew up near Portland, Oregon. Most of my friends used to be lefties, because the options were lefties or no friends. Turns out now that I'm all grown up, I'd rather have no friends than to be friends with lefties, because I cannot abide by ANYONE who is so without mercy that they wouldn't think twice about a baby in the womb being murdered, full stop. I also wanna agree that the "friend" of yours who calls you a friend but then doesn't wanna be associated with you is not a real friend at all. Differences or not, friends should be able to have mutual respect. I have this one friend who's super hardcore liberal (the kind you'd be able to tell was liberal just by looking at them), but they are literally one of the most respectful people I have ever met when talking about politics. We can talk about even the biggest of hot topics while still being civil and winding up still being friends by the end! And they have no problem associating with me, even when I post stuff they completely disagree with. THAT is a friend.

I'm so sorry. The way your Aunts treated you is awful. People like her are so damaging, who would rather shun and abandon her family than agree to disagree. Some advice, if you can, try not to let her destroy your relationship with your cousin. You should have a lifelong relationship with her, and be part of each others lives many decades from now. It's very selfish of your Aunt to try to take that from you both. If it's possible, maybe you could try to reach out to your cousin when you can, maybe getting across that you care about her, and family should be more important than having different beliefs. You can't make her believe that, but it's worth giving her a chance to reach out. If she doesn't, remember that you deserve better than that treatment, and loyal loving people in your life. If people won't be that, in some ways you're better off not having them in your life at all unless they learn better. Perhaps one day she might learn better. I really hope for the best for you with this very painful situation. Just remember that you deserve to be treated lovingly, and you aren't responsible for other peoples bad behaviour.

I don’t know how you managed it but somehow you made me realize that people can identify with the political party and then live completely opposite to it. Two of my best friends stopped speaking to me when I voted for Donald Trump. These two women got married young and have beautiful families more than two children each. They’ve lived their lives more conservatively than I have. I’m a single mom never married. They are Democrats and I’m a Republican. I learned from my mistakes but their mistakes haven’t effected them yet.

I got 2 things from this video. 1. The republicans mentioned more of the 5 historical black people when than the democratcs which is just hilarious considering there all the "racists" here and 2. The black woman saying he agreed to a lot her thoughts which confuses me considering i haven't heard or seen one thing she said on this video unless its being cut out.
