I think it's just another cash grab. They are similar to Milestone in that they have their own game genre that has nothing to do with dirt bikes. Milestone makes road racing games and Kylotonn makes rally car/gp racing games. If the game is better than any of the previous MXGP games I will be very surprised. Graphics will be great, UE5 is unbelievable. But, the physics is what we care about, so we will see. I could be wrong, well I hope I'm wrong lol.

@@AnbuProd I thought they used UE but after doing more research they actually developed their own game engine called KT. Not a big deal either way because their games have always had great graphics but I just assumed.

The game dev industry is in a free fall right now and we are getting a big reset since all of the covid money game companies were getting has dried up. I wouldn’t be surprised if this gets delayed or outright cancelled and I hope that isn’t the case. The MXGP games were always fun and I’m ready for a new one.

I agree the trailer was pointless, but in the latest news about game, they said that there will be 21 official tracks in the game. This year we have 20 races in championship and in the trailer was Matterley Basin , so they will maybe bring back MXON and I think that would be great. I am very excited for the game, but it would be nice, if they keep us updated. I am glad you are one of the youtubers that want to talk about that and try to keep some hype for the game. keep it up man💪💪

It’s announced 21 tracks in the game so… 20 tracks for the MXGP 2024 season + 1 track for MXON Matterley Bassin !

mx bikes is fun but it really lacks the necessary polish for a mainstream game. No licensed tracks, riders, or bikes. No bots or single player mode. No built-in mod manager. Low speed physics are finicky. Netcode has issues (disconnects, interpolation jumps, etc). Graphics are way behind the times.

Edit: welp just found out that kt racing went on strike because nacon I guess... Pretty sure the studio has been all hands on deck finishing test drive unlimited solar crown so i imagine once that game is launched and the the game settles a bit we will probably see something. I also agree that i wouldnt be surprised if we get first trailer or announcements at des nations

I wish we could have a gaming company like Sony Interactive Entertainment, Microsoft, Activision, Epic Games, Ubisoft, 2K, Ect. to make our SX/MX games. I would love to have a good company make a SMX game that has all of the replica SX, MX & SMX tracks in one game. I know our sport isn’t that big but, if a good gaming company made a game like that with good physics & graphics it would sell like hotcakes on consoles and on Steam. That’s the main reason why i started playing MX Simulator because you get all of those replica SX/MX & SMX tracks for FREE. MX Simulator is hard to get used to but, after you put some time into it it’s definitely the best game out there right now. It would be nice to have an arcade game like that to because MX Simulator isn’t for everyone.

I'm thinking they are going to release towards the end of or after the end of MXGP. I am HOPING they release after MXON & we can get that as a race mode, but if it's for MXGP 2024 & they don't release in the first half of the year, i'm hoping that means they are doing it for the current season. I am hoping that means will start getting gameplay reveals or pre-orders in the next few weeks. Wild take but in one of Craig's vlogs, there was a mention of the milestone team capturing the likeness of the SX guys, so SX by milestone in 2025. I am staking the claim that we're going to see the entire SMX championship, SX, MX & SMX all rolled into a single game. I know it's probably doubtful, but the transition to SMX is the PERFECT chance for them to get everything together rather than pursuing the Monster Energy Supercross & AMA nationals as two separate games/properties. Thoughts?

I would be quite skeptical if they try to add a track in mxgp 2024 with new track features because when you look at it we haven’t even had a track editor since 2020 or 2021 i believe just my opinion tho

I mean they make the new Test drive game and that feels great in the latest playtests... Not the same as bikes for sure but I think they can do some good work on the MXGP "series". Also, with test drive they just released a free demo to test from nowhere. Basically no marketing there either, maybe the same can be done with MXGP?

I don't think it is up to KT to publish material on the development of the game unfortunately. Based on my knowledge of the industry that likely is somewhere in the contract between the studio and publisher, so it would be up to Nacon (who has a sub-excellent history with transparency).

Not having ANY marketing for a game that supposedly is goin to be released around December makes me feel like its goin to be pushed back a year or so or cancelled out right. Other wise i feel like we would have seen marketing or anything to promote their product that they want to sell. I read someone else say this that kt racing and their companies make Rally cross games and something else that isnt dirt bikes. So they are goin to out all their effort and reasorces into the main genre & sport they like to make, which isnt MX. Milestone made ROAD RACING games and MX/Sx second. We need a new company or something of the sort that just makes Motocross games and will put all effort and money into a hood Dirtbike game! Hell, find the fuy that made MX BIKES and give him the money and reasorces InFront gives to thwse bigger companies and let him put together a team and make an incredible game and new gaming company that specifically makes motocross, supercross,and MXGP games or something like that....if only tho huh?!?!🤦🏻 I hope the game turns out great im lookin forward to it but i just have a feeling were not gonna see it for awhile

Except the steering that goes crazy at low speeds, and riding or braking on bumpy ground... 😅Personally I prefer the TrackDayR physics on the ground, but MX bikes air physics is the best

@@chrymix3179 yeah it could be for the suspensions reactions, a good setup could improve the behavior on the bumps for sure! But the crazy steering at low speed is bug or code issue, it can't be solved by suspension setup unfortunately...

Probably going to be delayed, just like Test Drive unlimited: Solar crown, that said, KT-Racing recently dropped a public beta for Test drive outta nowhere, so maybe they'll do the same for MXGP too, which is something Milestone would never do lol, so who knows. They do seem really busy right now and just announced ANOTHER racing game at Gamescom called 'Endurance Motorsport series', again outta nowhere, but this one had a playable demo at the event. Strange that this was there and MXGP was not.

KT racing are not owned by EA and EA have never had anything to do with the MXGP games. KT made the WRC rally games before EA took over.

OK Windham my question is why didn’t MX versus ATV legends didn’t get the MXGP licensed for this year 2024 and put all the MXGP licensed tracks in the game like what they did with monster energy Supercross done this year an the Lucas pro motocross which they did the pass three years on legends and now adding the SMX playoff tracks we getting in the game to so why didn’t they just get their license too been the smart thing to do just don’t make no sense to me because now we probably won’t get a MXGP game either 2025 next year or 2026 because it’ll take up two years to develop it and just like NASCAR we haven’t had a NASCAR game since ignition 21 in three years now
