Hey friends! I finally made my way up to the lovely city of Cosenza with my trusted sidekick Su, where we eat great food (we found Chinese food!!) go shopping and enjoy just walking around. It was unfortunate that I pulled my tendon in my knee but I hobbled around nonetheless and though we didn’t see all of it, we definitely saw the best of it. Enjoy!!

This video has opened Calabria for what it is,it’s a traditional old world land for who requires it,and it’s very modern and motivated at the same time for others,with prices that don’t offend............thanks for this open window. Cosenza is one hour from Lamezia Terme Airport,with taxis and buses at the exit.😊

It's my dream to visit this city and bring my mother. I live in Chicago and my mother was from a town outside of cosenza a town called Marano Machesato. She hasn't been back since she was 12 years old . She is 72 now so before it's to late I will bring her back to her home city. Hopefully in the next 5 year. So beautiful there I would love to go and connect with my roots. It's been my dream since I was a child

Thanks for sharing this great video. Cosenza is my family's provincial city. I've been visiting it since I was 3. They've done a great job with it. Btw, Corso Mazzini used to have auto traffic. Lot nicer now.

My great-grandfather was from the area. I was just there. And ate at Mi Ndujo. But did you not go to the centro storico?? Must do! When we were there we literally stumbled upon a very cool ceremony commemorating the 800th anniversary of the church.
