Welcome to The Frey Life daily vlogs! We are Peter & Mary, a married couple in our early 30's, showing the ups and downs of everyday life with #CysticFibrosis, a genetic lung disease that Mary was born with. In August 2019, Mary started a new CF medication that changed the trajectory of our future, and life has changed dramatically - including our son, Elijah, joining our family in December 2021. We also have an adorable standard poodle, Oliver, and a hairless sphynx cat, Harry. It's our hope that these videos can be an encouragement to to celebrate the little things in life and find joy amidst a world full of hard realities!

It never fails to utterly BLOW MIND how much your life has changed since the new CF meds, Mary. When you moved States it was prepping for a double organ transplant, and NO WAY anyone could have predicted that a few years later, you'd be a mom to a newborn (however temporary) and a toddler!!! Heck, facing a double organ transplant, there's a possibility you might not have even survived another 4 years, much less fulfilling a left behind dream of becoming a Mom ❤️❤️❤️. Having followed your journey from when you spent so much of your time in hospital, to what you're life is now, fills me wirh so much happiness for you, and for Peter ❤️❤️❤️

@@abbycat000 There was a life saving CF drug Mary started on called Trikafta, it has helped Mary a lot, they adopted Elijah, and they now have a foster baby.

Mary, you are just such a BEAUTIFUL testimony of God’s grace and His ability to perform miracles! I started watching you all severaaaal years ago…. When your health was less than optimal. You were soooo sick almost 24/7. You were spending weeks at a time in the hospital. And then, I remember when you were soooo near the point of needing that multiple organ transplant! BUT LOOK AT YOU NOW!!! It seriously makes my heart so incredibly happy for you and Peter. Congratulations on the new (& hopefully permanent) family member. It’s wonderful to see your precious family growing and all the love multiplying.😁 Priorities I had one having two young children were; keeping the floors clear / clean and especially every night. Arranging the furniture so that you don’t clip your toe and break your foot in the night or any emergencies, when cleaning up, take your time , avoid tyranny of the urgent.

Have you thought of a jolly jumper? My kids loved jumping, especially in front of a mirror. Baby can see you and he's safe. I started mine in the jumper as soon as soon as they started jumping in my arms, about 3 months. Use towels or pillows to help keep them upright. I was abundantly blessed with 3 healthy children It gets better, I promise you. In fact you will long for these days again. I love Mary in the wild. ❤🙏

I have 4 kiddos. The hardest adjustment was going from 1-2. I always tell people learning to juggle is the hardest thing to do then learning to add an extra ball is less hard then learning to juggle. Multiple kids is a juggling act. I was terrified when my husband went back to work. I figured it out of course but it was busy

When my children were babies, it was the best time of my life. No matter how much pain I was in, I could overcome it because they brought me so much joy (I have Lupus & CRPS). Enjoy every minute & and everything that comes with it, Mary. Even messy hair 😂!!

I suggest making a list everyday, I hated making lists until I had three children at home, and then I would write a list of everything: from getting the kids breakfast to school on the bus to getting dressed for myself making sure I didn't forget to eat for myself and I prioritize big things little things and then it's the day went on I got to see how much I marked off my list. Don't forget those little things are actually big things, but also, if you don't get two things, just push it to your list to the next day and don't fret about it. I am a big proponent in making less now, or I don't get squat done, LOL😂 Enjoy this season of organized chaos at moments and the quiet when you get your alone time with God is that much sweeter... because your blessings are safe and sound.

Ps. You with two babies= crazy to see! Knowing you prior to tricafta and now. Amazing. And rewatching you saying a million unfinished projects is real life for the rest of your life. Priorities are key and accepting chaos, lack of control, and lack of complete organization is key. Happy healthy babies and self care and love between you and Peter is key. Also sleeping babies make you drowsy naturally. Lol. They are like a drug. Cracking up at the Walmart date.

The sond Million little miracles got me through last year March 2022 we my son of 2 yr old then was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis. He is 4yr old now and doing better on his CF treatments. We are from South Africa.

Just look at the one minute vlogs as someone to talk to every minute. I would have loved to have been able to do that when my son was born. We were so broke it probably would’ve been hocked for a few dollars. But he was such a wonderful baby. Just being able to record what he was and wasn’t doing would have been great. God bless Mary. Oh my gosh! Y'all are the cutest things, and can make fun out of anything. I'm so glad you got your date night. At Walmart! With a cart to ride on!
