I can see where Ben's headspace has been these past few years. Even in FMTY there were multiple lyrics about how people will view him after his death. And it probably solidified even further after his friend Sad Frosty (R.I.P.) passed before or while making the album. He probably acknowledged, "Shit, I could die any day now too." This album is like his last will for people to look back on after his death. And given the headspace he was in at the time he might've even been suicidal at some point, which reflects the story in the album of how he died. He said he just needed these thoughts out of his head basically. It's a rather smart way to do it, and I'm glad he's doing better now.

I think u didn't quite understand the reason for cassini's division. It's an outro song explaining the whole mood of the ghost and that ending with the static it's the ghost itself. He talks about the ghost becoming static. Like, when the ghost in this "fantasy world" is near a person on the "regular world" it just appears like static to the humans. So that's why in the end u hear the static getting bigger and bigger as if his ghost was aproaching you in the real world. It makes a connection between the listener and the story because suddenly you're thinking that the ghost is aproaching u. For me it's one of the most beautiful and unique parts of this project, because it connects u with the story. I've seen some people also arguing about the static being the last stage of the ghost as he really passes away. Also, quadeca talks about this "turning into static", so it might be just the last stage of dying. Sorry for this whole Text lol, but I kinda felt the need to explain why, for me, it was so important to the whole experience (and that's what this album is - an experience that tells a whole story while sounding dope asf) and maybe the next time u hear it, u can live even more of that experience.

Yea definitely is a good way to show that. I still Just feel like it was a bit drawn out. I understand that this song is more about the story of the album then trying to entertain people with a banger song

A subtle detail I like in house settling is the glitching drum sound he uses to make it sound like a house creaking.
@voltreacts_2 жыл бұрын
Ooh he's really adding all those little details to this one

that was a drum???
@DeadDak2 жыл бұрын
@@krimson_flux I don't know exactly what the noise is, it's definitely a percussion sound that's been put through sound filters and maybe a little pitch changing with some distortion. He overlaps more tap sounds near the end of the effect to get the creaking.

i get your reaction but as ben said this isn't to be entertaining its his art. either way imo it's 1000X better than fmty in terms of artistry and entertainment.

Bad argument. If it’s not entertaining it’s not a good album. This album was so entertaining and keeps you engaged and that’s why it’s so good
@krimson_flux2 жыл бұрын
@@jjkulon94 it's not meant to entertain, it's meant to bring the listeners into the experience and mood of it all

@@krimson_flux yeah… and that’s his way of entertaining the listener…

@@jjkulon94 I don’t think Quadeca made the album to entertain though, I think this was more a passion project to capture the beauty and eerie atmosphere for the concept. Entertainment is purely subjective to the listener, he just made what he wanted. I’ve heard a lot of people call this album boring
