Once you decide to travel by a bus it takes 9hrs or 10hrs to arrival in Dodoma from Dar, but once you use SGR it will take you only 3hrs.

These are refurbished trains, hence not well customised according to our needs. How can a new train and new railway systems not match each other. From a platform, a customer has to climb steps to get into the train, instead of platform and train floor to match or properly align to allow smooth transition from platform into the train and vice versa. Also those units (air conditioning systems) above the train just another added objects or weight which not well integrated with the train which potentially affects the train’s aerodynamics and weight distribution. Since this is the beginning of new era, I believe a reevaluation of our train design and infrastructure compatibility is essential. Conducting a comprehensive cost-benefit analysis for future train investments, focusing on user-friendliness and operational efficiency, could significantly improve service deliverance to all stakeholders.
