The fact that they the NHL teams/players have no influence on the editing might be amazing. Or it could put them in a light that's inaccurate. Time will tell. All I know is my favourite people in the NHL are those who keep it real, so I hope we get an honest look at the realities of the NHL. Even and especially welcomed are the coarse, rugged, and cutthroat side of things. Ideally it doesn't pander to the p*ssif*ed aspects of our culture like the NHL (with all its silly PR and character squashing) tries to do

Hopefully this will bring more eyes on the game of hockey, and help grow the game. Hockey traditionally lacks the ability to market its product nearly to the extent of other sports leagues, and I gotta give credit to the NHL for doing this. I'll be excited to watch it (although the ending might me a little tough for me to watch as an Oilers fan)

i LOVE docuseries of all sorts, i will watch them for things i don't give a shit about (first season of last chance u my beloved) and i am so damn exited for this series. It's a bit of a random thing to focus on, but there's a shot of Quinn Hughes wake boarding in the trailer, and I kinda wonder if they did post elimination home visits with just sad hockey players? because like why else is Quinn wake boarding?
