I will always be loyal to him for saving basketball in Milwaukee. There was a time in 2015-2016 I didn't know the new owners were going to get a deal done for the arena, especially if there's a tax increase in Wisconsin. But fortunately the bucks had a young star on the rise and the city knew that and got the deal done.

I've never seen a player change his style and reputation around the league as Brook Lopez. He was one of the few bigs who would score almost exclusively in this post and he would never shoot 3's. When people talked about old style centers,his name would come up. At the same time he was never known as a defender and many would label him as a bad defender. He went from all that,to a guy who's known a great defensive center and a guy who shots more 3 points shots than 2 points shots. Only a handfull of bigs shoot more 3 poiinters than him. I've never seen such drastic change and he made it in one single season. He was with the Nets,having good stats but team was going nowhere. He went to the Lakers and people forgot about him. Bucks got him for cheat and they totaly changed him as soon as he signed up with them. Such drastic change and even though he stats are far worse,his impact on winning is huge.

If he could shoot that would be like combining a prime LeBron and KD , it's unfair for it to be asked of him. Yes he has a big weakness but I still think The Bucks could have beat The Heat last year. If he just does his thing on fast breaks and then just sit at around the free throw line he can easily slash to the rim from that far out if the "zone wall" defense is not active and when it is he is a good enough passer to kick it out to what should be a pretty much wide open shooter. The problem is if you go back and watch his teammates were not spaced out enough and they just didn't run this type of game enough with a roster filled with solid players that can give solid minutes but are just not that guy that hits big shots. If someone like Dame or Curry or anyone from the Nets was on the roster this year they would be favored and would be for years to come. I don't get it either since Giannis get his only playing like 30-35 min a game and would have no problem sharing the spot light.
