I listened to the book - there were different actors for the major characters, so, imho, it was easier to keep track of who was speaking. It was like a podcast version of VH1's "Behind the Music", (for those who remember that show.)

The six I believe is just a name inspired by Camila bc tho she isn’t musical she’s still a big part of their group and originally it was five using the name dunne brothers so when the dude got replaced by Karen and Daisy came along they kept it as ‘Daisy jones & the six’

I absolutely love her also suki and Camila(the actress name is also Camila) are best friends in real life too ❤

OMG yayyyyyy we're getting both! But yes, this is based almost directly off Fleetwood Mac and all the interband relationship drama that happened. The girl playing Daisy is Riley Keough, she's Elvis' granddaughter and has no music experience lol

Great that you're reacting to this! The original songs were written by a number of musicians, including Mumford, Phoebe Bridgers and Jackson Browne, among others. They did a good job of channeling the 70s sound and the soundtrack did well on the charts, but all the other music included in the show is really stellar. Hope you guys enjoy it.

This is one of my most favorite shows ever. The relationship drama is a bit much for my taste, but the music stuff is fascinating. You're doing this more than a year after the show's premiere, so I'm leaving a comment and a like for algorithm assistance. I liked the vibe of this video too, even if some of your musings were... amusing :D Still that's the beauty of watching reaction content, it allows us to recapture some of the feeling we had when we watched the piece of content we really love for the first time, from a slightly different point of view. And I did appreciate your point of view, especially when, unlike most of the people reacting to this show, you haven't read the book, so you're not constantly comparing, which is a fresh breath of air :D Don't get me wrong, I read the book, it's great, but... The show's better :D
