The quality of Honda die cast alloy and machined parts was always surprising to me. The motorcycles were not expensive, but were very reliable. I rode a CB450 and later a CB750 and I wish I had them both today.

Here in Canada, when I was a boy, 50 years ago, people were afraid to buy a Japanese car. Many people were worried that the car was not durable enough for the difficult conditions in my country. I currently drive a Honda Element. It has travelled 380,000 km so far, and it starts in -35C in the winter and +35C in the summer. I drive on rough, dirt roads in the Canadian North, and my 2008 Element does not rattle or squeak. I am very impressed with the quality of the vehicle and its assembly. Today, consumers pay more to buy a Japanese made product. So by your efforts, you have promoted a positive image of your nation to the world.

この時代、工場レーサーのテストにテレメトリを使用して、リアルタイムにデータ収集／分析を行っていたとは驚きです。 規模は違いますが、現代のF1とやっていることは同じですね！ 1948年に創業され、この映像が記録された1962年といったら、たった14年しかありません。 この短期間に急成長し、量産車の製造設備含め、まさに宗一郎さんの情熱が溢れていて感動しました。
