I started freelancing February of this year after getting fired from my shitty job and I haven't had the singular focus to be where I want to be. But I am making 3-4x what I was making in that job. And yeah maybe I should just look for an Adonis who will provide for me but I don't want to sit around waiting. Business is something I absolutely love and I want to work. Congrats Athulya, I will advice you please do not do the same mistakes a lot of freelance people do I can see you worked "Saeloun"... Do not make it full time first start with part time and have some small work on side so you can cover your financial obligations. Or if you are 100% going DESI way lol (i mean living with parents and stuff unlike me) I will say do this way for at least 2 years until your business is self-sufficient. linkedin me if you need any advice and maybe i will get some positive karma with it :).

My “FTE” moment was when I was delivering for Amazon and I was delivering to mansions. I literally saw a 3 floor mansion that had a literal movie theater that you could see from the windows and even the curtains that were open just looked so expensive. It made me obsessed with finding ways to get to that level. It looked like Tony Montana’s mansion at the end of Scarface. These are my grinding years I don’t even hang out

Thank you very much Hamza for your kind advice. I've published my first subliminal video on my yt channel yesterday and immediately put it on private thinking 'what if it doesn’t get as many views as I think it will get?' I guess I really need to try, test, and see how other people responds to my videos and which video performs well and which doesn’t. Since I'm really hesitant to make a yt channel showing myself (because family issues) I've decided to stick to a faceless yt channel where I'll be more likely to express myself. I don't know if its the right business model to persue but I'm gonna find out through trial and error. Wish me luck :)

My FTE: I worked part time at McDonalds when i was in uni. I was working the first window where you take the cash off people. I'd be in this shitty little booth for 8 hours straight taking orders on the headset and payments through the window. If i was lucky and cleared the queue i could run off to take a piss. First few shifts i quite enjoyed it, but it quickly became soul destroying. After about 5 hours in there one day, i kept looking at the money piling up and piliing up in the draw. On a good shift i might take £5-6k off people. About half that in cash. I was watching the piles of £20 and £10 notes piling up and up and up and thinking "I'm getting £67 to make all this money for someone else". It was in that moment i realised that full time work is an absolute scam. Working for someone else means your working to make them rich and not yourself. It pissed me off so much i couldn't sleep.

That won't get you anywhere unless you focus on a trade bro. Hazma has his virgin Mary looking idol that makes him money and he's stuck with it. He sells it. He got very lucky, yes. But the dude got disciplined and saw something he could exploit and he did. What you're doing right now is learning discipline. But it will lead you nowhere if you don't take a leap of faith towards a trade. You will fail. Multiple times. But someday you'll make it. Or perhaps you'll be lucky like Hazma. Take the leap.

No matter how much I beg I can't seem to convince my parents to let me have even the most basic of jobs, they want me to "focus on school" despite it being almost impossible for me to fail due to how easy school has become over the years and how my work ethic has developed as I got older. This came out at a perfect time. I failed an exam I worked my ass off for yesterday and when I got my grade back I literally said “fuck this shit” and started writing a book and started the process of purchasing a domain name and building a website. I’m going to finish my degree because I’m already far along, but I don’t want to be part of this bullshit system

This was a huge eye-opener for me. Like a lot of us, the “script” has been pushed onto me my whole life. I see my dad working as a dental surgeon and he makes really good money, but then I see his mental state. It’s obvious he hates his job and the people he works with, and it just seems miserable. My mom is a teacher. She likes her job and has a passion for teaching, but the pay? Literal peanuts for working OVERTIME at home grading papers for kids who don’t care about their lives. I need to figure something out so I can be different.

Your mama is not chasing the money she just wanna do something she loves and Id recognise myself in that . As a woman im not looking to be rich as is too much responsability 😄 but the only job I want to do doest pay that much but its the only way I will be happy in my professionnal life. I rather be happy in my low pay job and trust God for the rest . Such a shame for your father I pray he will be able to live the rest of his life doing something he truely loves. Men tend to put too much pressure on themselve 😔🌹🌹

Alright Hamza… I’ve been binge watching your content for the last week after finding you, and at 16:56 in this video, you done touch me in a deep place for the SECOND time! First time was when you said “it’s just you and your mom against the world isn’t it?” Holy shit, NO ONE ever knows about that. In my 28 years NO ONE has ever gone there before. And now in this video. Visualizing my wife (that I do have) going to work everyday (which see does) to an office where she hates her co workers and is graduating grad school to get more pay, all because I can’t provide enough money so that she doesn’t have to do that. Damn man. That just reignited the dying motivation I have being trying to save into a roaring flame of determination. My real motivation for all of this, is not so much to change my family’s financial tree, but to provide enough money and freedom, so that my wife can be free to do whatever she wants. My guy, have earned my sub 10x over. Thank you kindly 💪🏾🔥

The funniest thing is, the things that Hamza warns will offend the viewer are things I'm grateful to hear the most. When I hear things like: "You've been living a brainless life full of numbing activities" I cannot help but smile and say to myself "exactly". I only used to have people around who would say "You are perfect as you are right now". And I've believed them. And my life was sh!t. Whereas then I hear that my life is sh!t because I haven't done anything to make it better, it gives me so much joy. Because I know now that I have things to achieve, to strive for. Thank you, Hamza Ahmed! You have been the first Man to explain to me how to be a Man. I hope future generations will have fathers and brothers that are similarly-minded as you.

This video was a game changer for my mentality. Mediocre people constantly tell me ”You are only 17 years old so just go to school and get good grades and then get a good degree. You have all the time in the world”, but I have for some time considered every single hour of my free-time as an opportunity to learn. I now plan to take action on my dream rather than waste time taking tips from average guys. Thx a lot.

This is what I learned. Checking is for spending, credit card is for spending for benefits, and your savings is for large payments such as a down payment on a house or car. Your actual savings is stocks, CD’s, 401ks, and investments.

I thought I was the only one who felt that way around 7:52 . As I got older I started to question a lot of things that not only my parents taught me but other relatives, teachers, and people of authority in general. It's an interesting feeling when you realize a lot of people regardless of what society has taught us that even the ones who came before us dont really know themselves, aren't happy and dont understand why. Thats why I take what elders say with a grain a salt because I dont want to be like them. I want better for me and my future generations. Even though the older generations didnt have the same opportunities as us the fact that a lot of them didnt go for what they wanted bothers me. I can't be like that.

Thank you for this video. It was really eye opening, I am having similar thoughts regularly but I've always shrugged it off and not thought about the importance of taking actions. Obviously the most difficult thing is starting out, taking action, and this is really what I've been struggling with. As you said, the lower the entry barrier the more competition and so on, since starting a youtube channel barely requires any sort of upfront investment, how would you go about taking action if you don't have the capital to start any kind of business?

59:10 I remember when I was living on a ship I had a few of your videos downloaded through YT premium. One of the videos had your story of buying those trainers preowned, and how they had a hole in the toe box. I applaud how you kept them, despite making tens of thousands of dollars per month. At the time, I was interning, so I was making $5/hr on that ship. Now that I’m back at school, I’ve been able to keep a $5/hr mentality for the past 4 months.
