Battlefield V is a first-person shooter video game developed by EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. Battlefield V is the sixteenth installment in the Battlefield series. Battlefield V will focus extensively on party-based features and mechanics, scarcity of resources, and removing "abstractions" from game mechanics to increase realism. Cosmetic items, and currency used to purchase others, will be earned by completing in-game objectives.
The game will feature several new multiplayer modes, including the "continuous" campaign mode "Tides of War", "Firestorm", and "Grand Operations". The Grand Operations mode is an expansion of the "Operations" mode introduced in Battlefield 1, which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages to simulate a campaign from the war. In Grand Operations, each round will have specific objectives, and performance in each stage will influence the next. Games will culminate with a "Final Stand", with players using only a primary weapon with limited ammo, and no respawns. Similarly to Battlefield 1, the game will feature a collection of single-player "war stories" based on aspects of World War II. The game also features a cooperative mode not seen since Battlefield 3 called "Combined Arms", where four players can undertake missions together and features dynamic missions and objectives so missions cannot be played the same way each time. Combined Arms is scheduled to be released after launch. The Battle Royale mode will be built around the franchise's "core pillars of destruction, team play, and vehicles". The name "Firestorm" is derived from a literal storm of fire that engulfs players similar to the popular Battle Royale game mechanic of restricting the play area. Furthermore, this particular game mode is not being developed by EA DICE themselves, but has been outsourced to Criterion Games and features the biggest map created by the franchise to date. I use this exclusively for destroying stationary AA, tanks and other unmovable weapons. On breakthrough I can pretty much deny the enemy AA and allow other pilot's to focus on dominating the air and land. Definitely my favourite is the confusion the enemy must have when my plane is halfway back to the resupply when they get killed

I do think there's room for a B-27 squad leader call-in though. In any case, I'll be VERY surprised if they return to BFV. That ship has sailed.

I feel like the glide bomb is more for infantry then the tanks but it obviously still works on them but tht it's max damage to armor is a little weak. Also you should use the flags to see how many meters away you are from your target

It's awesome to see you getting into a new kind of vehicle. I've been doing the same thing with the LCVP boat. Using the 3rd person pilot cam to scout around, switching to the awesome MGs and murdering everything in sight and using the MG combat role to get near instant suppression spots for long range targets. Being a constant team spawn point also helps. And using the comrose to yell "GO Go GO" as my GIs poor out of the boat is so awesome. For some insane reason the stats page doesn't track kills with the boats yet though. They finally added stationaries although it pretends my hundreds of HMG34 kills never happened. Now they add boats to the game but no way to track your kills. Without things like service stars and dog tags to work for, the stats page kills/ destroys are the only real progression we have in BFV. As levelcap would say "Dice Please!"

@@jackchristian9854 why is it cheap to use a landing craft to help troops land? I'm closer to the action than most tanks, planes or snipers and it requires a lot of situational awareness and solid long range shooting skill. I'm also providing a spawn point and helping the team cap objectives.

@@jackchristian9854 well I don't just sit in one spot all game. Say we get one flag on breakthrough, then I'll float around the side of the other flag so we can attack from multiple directions. I also tend to distract a lot of the (very pissed off) enemy team, drawing them off the flag. That to me is more useful than just another Thompson wielding medic rushing the flag and getting slaughtered which is what most people seem to do.

81 damage maximum against tanks, aiming takes time to learn. Waiting to see how other bombs and guns fare against tanks later. Area of effect against infantry isn't too big. Best sticking to the incendiary, it's sometimes invisible to infantry on the ground, you just ignite and go WTF is going on.

Looking at the “Epic” weapon skins that you can unlock, or spend over 12,000 company coin to unlock and just how bland and lazily slapped on they look, I’ve realized the main purpose of weapon customization and character customization is to sell them through microtransactions. I mean, they’re asking you to spend $36 to unlock a single Elite character.. in a video game that failed miserably and just recently has taken the first step in the right direction (and then 5 steps back with their plan of basically double the amount of bullets to kill). I also noticed how the amount of BP needed to unlock an Elite character, is sold either slightly under what you need, or over the amount which results in like a $20-$30 difference in real money. Usually when selling more of something, the price is less than if you were to buy the lower amount of BP coins 2 times. The Epic characters cost 750BP, you can buy 500BP for $6.49, or 1050 for $12.99 which is exactly $6.49x2 (minus 1 cent...) only thing is you get 50BP extra, which is 1/15th of that character so literally useless. But you’re forced to pay $13 for that character to have enough. I guess you can also get 1 elite character for 950BP for that $13, but the fact that the Elites bundles are 3960BP (currently discounted to 3000BP) and they think somehow a character that took them probably no time at all to create, along with 3 others is worth you spending SIXTY-FIVE DOLLARS is fckn disgraceful... and again, without the sale, they short you 490BP which is $40, so you have to pay an extra $25 to get 6000BP to get an elite bundle. Then the process of getting Company Coin is so slow if you want to save up and get an epic piece of clothing or character it’s literally a waste of time. I will never understand how people can be so oblivious and just idiotic to buy into this shit... y’all need a financial advisor for real lol. What a garbage company EA has turned into.

Not much into flying, just can't last long enough to enjoy it. On the two new maps pilots aren't that much of a problem when I'm in a tank. Nothing like PanzerStorm were they come in from behind. But I'll tell you this, that 40mm gun on the ships takes out zero's real easy. Multiple games I've taken down 7x or more.

Well as a pilot I managed to learn how to counter them by flying low at the map edge and attack them from the side mostly works just gotta disappear fast if I fail to kill them. So be on a look out for that if you use AA

I don't know how you are doing so well with the glide bombs. They were wildly inconsistent and would fly 50 ft off target if I didn't fly perfectly straight without any corrections for aim.

Yea you need to be very still if you plan on gliding it from far away. Any yaw/roll can make it go way off. I am sure the speed, angle of attack and all that also matters but as far as straight line goes, yaw/roll are very important

Looks like a half assed Immelmann turn. I use that, the split S and the scissors to break off a chaser. Most typical players won’t know what to do if you do actual combat tested maneuvers. Most just have a stall war 5 feet off the ground.

The glide bomb seems to be a really fun gadget. But would you also say it's effective when compared to its alternatives? Personally, I got into dabbling in planes due to this week's ToW as well. Can't say I've had too much fun. I'm just no good with them. ^^ Also, since the first players now seem to have unlocked all plane specializations, I desperately hope they'll never nerf the Fliegerfaust. Death to those incediary bombs! >:(

The glide bomb is nice for the dog fight variant to have. Otherwise you get rockets and they don't do as much damage to tanks. Rockets are good against planes though.

I was in one of the same matches in this video. I think the most you can hit for is 80-ish. I do not believe you can 100-0 a tank with it. I have seen other youtubers try using the glidebomb as well and seen spot on hits, but no 100-0 tank kills.
