Love the vlogs! This pattern was reeking havoc on the bowlers, started out with high scores and as soon as the oil got a little tore up it started getting tough and nasty! My son and I watched it all from qualifying to the end on Flobowling, We were frazzled by the end, I could only imagine how the bowlers felt!

One thing about these vlogs I love is it shows everyone how hard these shots are and how many bowling balls you have to drill up just stay in the hunt. Great 300 game and good bowling!

I like that adjustment you made. Straighter with more forward rotation is key. It's been working for me, and has just been confirmed with your 300 game.

I love your vlogs Darren! Been bowling since august 2021 cause of a friend wanted me to join a bowling league. This is my first year and im averaging a 172 and have had a couple 600 series. Im a two handed bowler. I need to work on transitioning. Any advice on when to stop moving left and swap to a weaker ball?

Love the vlogs Darren, i bowl for my highschool as a freshman and am in a youth league, also my first year bowling and average 160, any tips to increase ball speed though? I throw around 13.5
@Ewin098
@Ewin098 2 жыл бұрын
What area? I’m also bowling for varsity as a starter. I’m a 7th grader and my average is lying at 180-190. To increase ball speed, try walking to the foul line a little bit faster. Just a little bit faster each time and try to work it up to a comfortable pace. You’ll see that pros throw it fast from keeping their feet fast and building momentum up to the foul line.

I can def help. Get a kettle bell weight close to the weight you throw. Practice your backswing at home

Either faster feet or longer steps. Do not try to create speed with your arm on the swing down. Very likely to result in misses left and squeezing the ball, assuming you use your thumb.
@joshneria4512
@joshneria4512 2 жыл бұрын
Practice on creating a smooth transfer of moment and work on strengthening your core. Majority of ball speed comes from your core, footwork and form. Following through after your release not only will help with accuracy, but with speed as well. Being aware of what you body is doing will ensure that nothing is left behind after you throw it. Also, you’re a freshman still, don’t expect an increase in velocity until junior or senior year. Mainly work on perfecting your craft.

I have an idea for a video (not necessarily a good one). Personally I'm getting into the sport and I have bought most of my balls second hand (most expensive one I paid was $60 for an Ebonite Omni) and I was given a Mastermind Brainiac. I know these balls are old and retired at this point, but how would a pro do with these (or something like it?)

Hey Darren, I always have trouble playing straight at the 10 board and further in. I think it’s because i don’t really know where to stand so I always miss out. Could you please maybe give me some tips for playing more in? Thanks!

I saw one of your replies and I'm a 7th grader (My average is 120-130 but I pick up my spares pretty nicely) as well but what I do for those 10 pins is to throw slightly faster and twistmy hand slightly less. Try to stand (if you're a righty) at the 30th board
