I find defrosting in room temperature wrapped in paper the best as it retains more of the scent & nutrition for the snakes. Defrosting in water deletes most of the nutritional benefits & removed most the scent of the rodents. 🐍🐍

@@JohanExoticGlobal hi Johan. I defrost my mice on the top back of my fridge where it's warm & they take 3-4 hours usually. I wrap them in newspaper as plastic bags seem to make them sweat & leave them wet? At usual room temps I usually leave them over night. As my Royal Python likes his food a bit warmer I put his on top of his viv above the bulb to get a little extra heat which works a treat. Let us know how it goes if you decide to try this ☺️
